Their ground breaking productions on Nukleuz and Tidy have also earned them unparalleled respect and notoriety within the industry, winning record of the year at the Hard Dance Awards for their smash hit "Turntablism", a truly groundbreaking production that turned Hard Dance upside down and shook it into the 21st century. 2008 marks the release of their latest album “Oldskool Autopsy” on Tidy featuring some hard as nails reinterpretations of some beloved classics. Other tracks like “Locked Tight”, the infamous “99.9” and more recently their “F**king Twisted” rework of Vinylgroover’s “Live for the Weekend” are seared into the consciousness of Hard Dance and Hardstyle lovers everywhere. So get ready for the Organ Donors’ Vancouver debut, as they will surely leave you Twisted and begging for more! TECHNIKAL, UK | Technikal Portal | |Tidy | Technikal Recordings Now firmly established as one of the most respected and biggest selling artists in the world of Hard Dance, Technikal (aka Alf Bamford) has kept up the blistering form that first got him noticed, with a slew of classic productions over the last year. Never one to rest on his laurels, he has pushed his immense production skills further by successfully producing acclaimed Hardcore tracks alongside his unique brand of Hard Dance, as well as producing Electro and Psy-Trance-tinged material. Keen to show he is no one-trick-pony, this young star continues to test his skills to the limits. Technikal first found his passion for dance music as a young teenager, and was inspired by his older brother to take up music production. Producing from the age of thirteen, he got his first track signed at the age of seventeen - and has gone on to sell hundreds of thousands of records across the globe. Since being discovered by HeatUK’s Spencer Freeland and Marc French in 2004, Technikal has made a truly meteoric rise through the Hard Dance scene, working with the likes of Phil Reynolds, Steve Hill, Rob Tissera, Guyver, Lisa Lashes... the list goes on and on. He has earned the respect of his peers and is consistently cited as one of the most talented and innovative producers around. Alf’s DJ career has taken off in a big way too. Now cool and confident behind the decks, his invigorating, peak-time blend of Hard Dance has seen him play such illustrious gigs as Dance Valley, Impulz, Tidy Weekender, Goodgreef, Frantic, and his spellbinding midnight set at HeatUK’s New Years Eve Party at Brixton Academy. Further afield he has played at Australia’s biggest and best parties, as well as stamping his mark in places like Cape Town, Stockholm, and Trondheim. At the 2006 Hard Dance Awards, the public voted Technikal as runner up in the best producer, best remixer, and best track categories. The Harderfaster Reader Awards 2006 also proclaimed Technikal as the best producer and remixer of the year. It’s unheard of for someone so young to conquer the dance music scene in such a short time, but Technikals production prowess is too mighty for the outcome to be anything less than this. Now fully in his stride, this young prodigy sets the pace for the Hard Dance scene. You saw him at Twisted, you begged us to bring him back; well, we listened, so once again it’s time to get Technikal! DJ KUTSKI, UK | http://www.djkutski.com | Radio 1 | Riot! Recordings | Traffic Radio 1, the world respected and premiere European music station, with audiences in the millions, saw the potential shown by this subtle, understated DJ and gave him the biggest career opportunity any talent up and coming can have in this industry: his very own residency show! This was part of the catalyst the Hard Scene needed with an audience listening intently, Kutski started bringing hard music back to the people and the people in turn started returning to the dance floors where a new generation was finding a way to fill their weekends. This groundbreaking “In New Music We Trust’” residency show has now become the longest running monthly show in Radio history and is a testament to the impact Kutski has made. On a performance level his natural exuberance and awe-inspiring deck-man ship rank him up there among true greats. The ingredients for a superstar are all in there; the ability to mix anything with anything have left crowds confused with a general “how did he do that” look across their faces. Technical skill with cuts and loops using every beat and bar of a track keep everything about Kutski’s sets fresh and devastating to behold. Then there’s scratching. On that front he is truly unmatched on the hard scene, picking up a section and manipulating it with ruthless precision before releasing a scratch riff to an amazed audience just gives his already astounding performance that kick to the next level. Not one to rest on his laurels, Kutski has also been producing avidly with releases on BK and Vinylgroover’s Riot! and Traffic imprints, “Depth Charge” with BK and “Bitmap” with Jason Cortez. Much more is coming with Kutski so prepare to be amazed and you won’t be far off! CLICK HERE to download Kutski Live @ Kiddstock 2008!
