The Abbotsford people might remember a tiny thing in the hall above valley catering in Abby in like june of 99 I think. I'm blanking big time even on the names of the people who threw it...hm...

I'm pretty sure that was "Tunnel Vision". My friends and I did green channels and got sooo F*k'd up! My old acid dealer, Dallas was one of the guys that threw the party, it was a great vibe too till the bars let out and the bar stars showed up. Still a great party. But I think that it was june of 2000 cuz my first party was new years 2000

I've got to FULLY dissagree with you on this. I think starting young is stupid cuz you don't have the smarts to know what's goin on in the world and to be introduced to how the world works through a rave just screws things up harsh. Plus the chemicals in the system while yer body is developing can't help, no wait, it definitely hurts things.

ok...back to the question....i was 21....apex '04....such a good time.
however...here it goes......my rant (and yes i rant about it a lot, but that is cause i am sooo pissed off about it).......i missed out on what they call the "glory days". fuck. i coulda been partying years ago. one of those i started at 15 and now i'm a bitter sketched out e-tard. (haha...which is prolly a good reason for not starting back then) but seriously...i missed out on soo much. but it's always been part of me. fucking my best friend raved all through highschool...and i always got those sunday phone calls......you know the type. but he would never take me. and do you think i was smart enough to take my damn self...no. so i lived the first five yeary of my party career vicariously through him. and now i am all old and bitter and jaded and i have only been partying for a year. ugh....and ...i have never been to a plaza party. rrrrrr. but i guess i should stop dwelling on the past...look at the bright side. at least i am older and wiser now. i know my parting days will last not even half as long as they would have if i started out back then. and i have much less chance of become i skitso meth head....as i have seen first hand the escalating effect of drug use and the damage it can do. still.....i wish i could have been at all those wonderful parties i hear about from back in the day. sigh.....

I could go further into the whole philosiphy I used to have compared to now and my views on everything you mentioned (which admitedly would be said with a sort of "sentimental, things will never be the same" kind of way) but it would all take a lot of space just to come to the conclusion that you are probably a better person because of it and you really didn't miss out on shit worth shit so it's not worth talking about. And things will never be the same for a reason so that's just how it goes.
But the point is that you probly ARE a better (and less sketchy) person today because of it and now they have jungle on the main stage!! So things are all good.

i was 15 . It was also the first time i popped e. This was back when Terrace still had a rave scene.... and it was A memorable experience for sure!. The party was just outside Terrace in the boonies. A little kind of log cabin lookin hall just full of people dancing their brains away. Some UK DJ came and spun too, farely unexpected and unusual for a place like Terrace. I remember altho i had a blast dancing and meeting people, enjoying the roll..... the djs played way too much fuckin hard house. but All in all that was some good times that ill always cherish !
