Bad Religion w/ Dropkick Murphy's

Pros:

Dropkick Murphy's were a sight to behold. I haven't ever listened to their music before, but I can truly say I am a fan now. They are one of the most talented bands I have ever had the honor of seeing. The sheer number of instruments that were played during their set left me in awe.

BAD RELIGION ROCKED MY SOCKS. It has been several years since I have been to a punk show, and it really did miss it. I spent the entire set smooshed up against the railing in the front row with a gangly elbow in my boob the entire time, and I wouldn't have changed it for the world. My age shows at those concerts and I am going to feel it in the morning. They didn't play anything from "The Grey Race" which saddened me, but they played a ton from "Stranger than Fiction" and that made it for me.

The best part of the night, was the kid that wasn't a day over 6 with the industrial sound protection on, rocking out on his dads shoulders to Dropkick Murphy's. He was hardcore.

Cons:

The PNE forum and their security make that venue the WORST VENUE in the world. I have never in my life seen people get tossed from an event so roughly for crowd surfing.

The soundtechs needed to learn their jobs better too. Seriously, turn up the mics, the sound in that venue is so bad, that unless you are right in the front row, all you hear is distortion.

MAKE SMOOSH, NOT MOSH!

_bRiTt will become famous soon enough
during bad religion i was at the right side against the gaurd rail and got smashed into it a few times, then i moved back and got elbowed i nthe nose and then it started bleeding.. then when i was holding my nose trying to get out i got my foot stepped on and i fell sideways and twisted my ankle

my friends all showing up in kilts for dropkicks was the best part of the night for me

and i agree with avana, the sound quality was shit, you couldn't hear thier mics at all

Bad Religion was sooo good. I couldnt wait for them to come on and when they did boy did they ever deliver a wicked show. (aside from the shit sound)
Dropkicks were dope again of course. I had watched the show from the stands. I wasent in the moshing mood that night.

LONG LIVE PUNK ROCK!
