ATB @ Plush
Was a good show. It was my first time going to Plush and I thought it's a pretty cool venue and the sound is good there.
When I got there - Jimmy Valance and some other dude were throwing down a warm-up set of house. Then Ferry came on and played some phat electro. Good job guys. Next was ATB. The sound definately got louder when he came on, lol, who turned it up. It was cool though. ATB's set was awesome - good tunes from start to end, both old and new. Does anyone know what was the second track he threw down? And what was the name of the last one? That track was a good choice to end the night with. The production quality of the show was good and everything seemed under control. The vibe was wicked - I would recommend Plush to anyone if the vibe is always like that there... Overall - I had a good night, good people, good DJs, good music... I'm glad I decided to go in the last second. Shouts to everyone I saw that night. Did anyone see the fight at the end? I almost got my head smoked by some guy from behind of me... P.S. The people who I met right after in their car - if you guys are reading this and still have my info on that piece of paper, then check out my mix site - you won't be disappointed. ;) |

Copy 'n paste from my TA review a few hours ago. Everything is accurate except for the SLEEPING part. I'm too lazy to post anything else n I gotta go visit my dad before I pass out today. Damn, I'm tired!
This was by far one of the most fun events at Plush I've been to in recent months. Ferry and Dennis were stellar as openers and Andre put on quite a show until 2am. Great night overall! Too bad Vancouver is so bunk when it comes to club operations, he would've had it rocking til 6AM (at the very least)! Will post more details after a good morning's rest and a healthy dose of sobriety. Thank goodness I booked today off. Met pleanty of nice people and hope to see some of you this Saturday at Digital (its Andy Moor, for Pete's Sake!)! Either way, it was definitely worth an excursion to downtown, ATB was a pleasure to behold, the classics and more recent tracks aside. "Let You Go" (the original/club mix) owned allllll, despite my preferance for the updated mixes! Good mixing all around and simply wonderful stage presence overall. An excellent event by M.S.H! Hope the night was successful for Ferry 'n Sep (as well as all in attendance) and hope M.S.H. will throw many more shows of this calibre! Yes there was a pricetag, but if they keep booking acts like this, its well worth it, IMO! KEEP IT UP! Okay, off to bed now! GREAT JOB ALL AROUND! Greetz, Alje Ademdum: Great seeing Firewire, Project One, Ricey, InFlames, and countless others at the show. Always a pleasure! Definitely a good night. The crowd was crazy, probably one of the more hyped crowds (For a club night) Ive seen in a while. Wicked times! |

i hadn't been to plush for a trance night in almost a full year. this was a fun party. i can't wait for either sasha or armin at the end of the year. :D
the only downside of the night for me was that some people were rude and pushy, especially the trashy couple that were high off drugs near the middle of the dancefloor. you two need to learn how to respect other partiers and their dancing space. |
