hands down, best show of the year for me!!
BIG UPS to USC! these guys know how to do it PROPER! i came last year, and had a blast, this year was even better!, you guys won yourself and annual ticket from me for this event! not goin anywhere else for halloween! 18+ was just great!......how it should be!!! -breakbeats on mainstage = orgasm! promoters out here should take a lesson, and ravers should start to reconize!! breaks are life! although iceys mixing lacked 10 days from tues, he plaed some KILLER toons! crystal method played some heavyer prog breaks! PERFECT! missed baby anne :( due to arriving SUPER late thanx to getting held at the border for an hour and half! best part of the night has to be teh dancer on the stage!!...i offically fell in love! my god.....those girls where perfect! lol and the outfits, or lack there of was just the icing on the cake!! just perfect! x marks the spots :P pat, i was looking for you for like the whole party, finally found ya, chilled for a bit, and you leave the show?? whats up with that? :P good seein ya anways kat, we didnt chill as much as we shoulda! you where off in your own little world lol all in all, it was an awsome experience, and i will most deffinatly be back next year |

It was a BAAAAAAAAAADDDDD night. The venue was killer, the tunes were killer (Judge Jules fucking killed it!), but so much other shit happened that it wasn't even funny. I'll probably end up going again next year, but yeah, tonight better make up for last night.

BABY ANNE set of the night yo! Venue was insane, production/sound top fucking notch. You will never experience a party/venue like this in vancouver (IMO). Going back next year for sure. Wyatt bro, goodtimes as always aaahhhh yeaeeahhaaa.Freaknight 11 here we come. Tiff, Britt, Jeff, Kat, Paige goodtimes in the hotel for the pre drink. I need those pictures. RustyBob and Cody thanks for the ride to the party guys from our hotel. Sorry about the morning...everyone was KOed. Cody i still owe you a beer dood. Kelly man you seemed to be having quite time. By the time i'd seen you man I had been inside for like 4 hrs.. The booze and all the dancing took it out of me, It was time to leave.That naked chick on stage wanted you buddy. lol yyyeeewww! Bev??? Crystal Method started out with sick tracks. Donald G man still bumpin it!! the dnb room was way to hard for me. hard jungle. im more of a dark evil dnb chick. but still it was packed and bumpin. the trance/speed garage room....WYATT DONT MAKE ME GO IN THERE!!! the bar OMG it was so crazy. and as for the smoke pitt why didnt i know that we could have gone out the whole time..would have came in handy this party was bumpin. it was like back in the day 97/98. everyone in that party was dressed to the T!! it was so much fun and the vibe was so great. everyone was so nice and the battle cirlce had to be one of the funest things ever. noone was a jerk and trying to kick eachother out just showin there skills. tones of funkstylist which for me is so wonderful. met tones of cool guys who were fun to dance with the half naked chicks on stage rocked!! the nipple tassels were sweet!! matched the crazy erotice environment. every room was like the main room at plaza(all 4 of them, including the bar room) i will go next year its as great as it was last night. id love to know how many people were there. 4000+? seattle you didnt let me down!! good times PAT~watch out for exploding beer in the face BRIT~your such a wicked chick, thanks for driving and hanging out me. add me to msn WYATT~u rock nuf said..u made my whole morning fun, funny and annoying all at the same time lol. plus dancing with u at the party was so fun PAIGE~i almost got u in the circle!!! the drunken pizzle and didgy cams = bad for you and i lol!! pass em cant wait to see the pictures(well yours lol) KAT~ welcome to pizzle it will become ur friend every time u want to go party and be happy=) and i told you wed make it for baby!!!;) plus for ur first seattle trip YEWWWW GIRL!! u rocked it lol JEFF~u rock u made this all possible for me. thanks for grabbing me the tic and getting me a ride and booking the hotel. your wonderful!!! if it wasnt for you id never have gotten to go see this awsome show. and it was all so weel worth the long trip. By far the best rave I have ever been to. Everyone was decked out in costumes, the music was absolutely sick (Babyanne, Jules, Crystal Method,Irene, D.G), people were so friendly as I met many from all over the place, even the venue was tight (a little packed at times but whatevs) and most people were getting down the entire night. Definitely worth the 7 hour drive down and will for sure make plans for next year, hopefully bring a bigger crew. Richmond if you're out there, nice meeting u bro and thanks for helping us out! Can't wait to party with you guys again.

haha... when i went to USC you could totally pick out the Vancouver ravers because of their dancing.... it's soooo true
mind you.. after going to Doom's Night..... I've realized good dancers are a thing of the past. The only good dancers were ravers from 5 years back |

Despite the tone of my original review, I definitely did enjoy Freaknight. The venue was awesome, and Judge Jules was definitely worth the price of the trip. I hope someone brings him to Vancouver sometime.
The drive home was kind of sketchy (since I didn't sleep at all, just drove right back) but totally problem free. We got harassed like crazy at the border, had the car searched, etc., but there was no incriminating evidence. Quote:
