Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, James has spent the last 9 years rocking bodies and representing his hometown all over the Northwest States and Canada. His style is the offspring of old school breaks and the new school sound, a smooth blend of crowd friendly and extremely danceable funk and breaks. As founder of the Northwest Breaks Alliance, James has been a vital force behind his local breaks movement, working with and playing alongside the top companies and DJs that the Northwest has to offer. Ten years in the making, his flavor of nu skool breakbeat, electro and progressive tech funk has become a distinctive grind that has left followers hungry for more. A musician, engineer and performing artist Dj Soma has brought a high level of entertainment to his stage, frequently adding live instruments and collaborations to his show. In high school, she started a garage band with some friends and picked up bass guitar. Fast forward another five years, Eris had her first real encounter with electronic music, and was hooked so much so, that she invested a couple of Techs only two weeks later. Never to be stereotyped into one style, Eris can drop a blend of progressive and electro or tech house and breaks. With her unique mixing style, energy and undisputable talent, combined with her eclectic track selection, Eris is a welcome addition to any event. Eris has recently delved into the world of production, and is working on establishing her own progressive, techy, electro, breaky house/housey breaks sound. She is always looking for new ways to be involved with the music that she loves and is definitely a name to look out for. Jumping into solid lineups with local and international DJ's, within just half year he has played at 5 large events throwing down floor rockin' tracks. She recently became a resident of "The Jungle Room" in Victoria. In last few months she has played along side with dj/producers such as Dillinja, Lemon D, Hive, Kenny Ken, Third Eye Tribe and many more... Her collection contains many different styles of DnB to create proper atmosphere for the crowd. Her main purpose is to bring quality beats to dance floors and to steer the mood of the crowd with the music that she plays. This time you're in for a treat, come check out her special house set. Exposed to different genres of music at a young age, he discovered electronic music and quickly developed an ear for its sub-genres. Influenced by DJ’s and Producers such as General Midi, Freestylers, Stanton Warriors, Autobots, Aquasky and Breakfastaz his main objective for every one of his bassline driven sets is to make the crowd rip the floor apart.
