Primus Sucks!
"They say rock 'n' roll is the devil's music. Well, let's say that it is; I've got news for you. Let's say that rock'n'roll is the devil's music and we know it for a fact to be the absolutely, unequivocally true.
Boy, at least he @#$%ing JAMS!"
Best rock show I've ever seen.
Orpheum is a bit of a weird venue, but the setup was absolutely AWESOME. 10 of those 360degreex360degree light rigs they've got at Celebrity's, 8 strips of RGB LEDs....
And three of the greatest musicians ever.
Newfound respect for Larry Lalonde for me. I've always felt disappointed by his recordings held up against Claypool and Alexander. But goddamn did he impress the #### out of me.
I'd almost like to say that my underestimation of Lalonde and the fact that I had previously seen Les Claypool back in June made me more impressed with Lalonde than Claypool, but that's just not true. I've seen the man twice now and I'm still completely dumbfounded as to how he makes the bass sound like that.
They didn't play Tommy The Cat which I was kinda looking forward to hear, but they unmothballed Wynona's Big Brown Beaver which I had heard that they gave up performing after it got so big.
Exquisite showmen, brilliant musicians and ####### incredible music. 10/10.
