Hey all,
Well, here are the details of our legendary annual NYE party. Throwing NYE parties is how Intimate Productions started, so this is a very special time for us. And this looks set to be our most diverse and versatile one yet! So do not miss out. Here are the details: Intimate NYE 2007 Sunday, December 31st Lotus, Honey & Lick Nightclubs Intimate Productions is back with what is sure to be our best New Year's Eve party yet. Over the last 7 years, we've put on some illustrious NYE affairs in VanCity ranging from small cafes, lounges and galleries, to the Vancouver Public Library. This year, we're proud to be working with the Lotus Hotel, and the Mod Club crew, to bring you Vancouver's premier 3 room party with music to satisfy all your friends. Lotus: (house / techno) feat. the LawnChair Generals To top things off, house masters Peter Christianson and Carlos Mendoza aka the Lawnchair Generals will be on the decks downstairs in the Lotus. This Seattle duo are the two of the most sought after house DJs around, as shown by the packed rooms that occur every time they play here. Also performing are the duo of Thom Banks (Victoria), who always rocks Soundwave each year with his brand of tech house and electro, and Vancouver legend Mike McSuede bringing the techno flavour. Signal residents Ollie Ple, Woodhead and G-rock will start off the night with healthy doses of all things funky and house. Honey: (60's mod, brit, indie) brought to you by the Mod Club If you can enjoy a set that includes the Rolling Stones, the White Stripes, Metric, Blur, the Smiths, Pulp, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, the Clash, Interpol, Depeche Mode, Suede, Nancy Sinatra, James Brown, Supergrass, and Franz Ferdinand, . The Mod Club on Fridays turned this usually chill lounge (aside for Lotus Long Weekends ) into a happening rock n roll club. With its the oversized booths and couches, and "dance anywhere" attitude, you may never leave this room. Lick: (mash-up, electro, funk, breaks) Featuring DJs De Lux vs. Betti Forde; OJ vs. Jimmy Towers; Team Trainwreck ; and Crown Vic this room is going to be mental. OJ is one of Vancouver's most top breaks DJs, but has also been known to deliver a killer does of electro, alongside Jimmy Towers (aka Andy Clockwork ) who is no stranger to Intimate Productions, and is also one of the hottest new breaks producers in town. Last NYE, these two blew apart the Dark Room Café with their tag-team set. Team Trainwreck are the twisted trio of Abasi, Dr. Jones and Glyn, who got together by accident at one of our New Year's parties 3 years ago, changing Vancouver with their amazing and always eclectic mash-up sets. Also on the decks will be Intimate's versatile Crown Vic, to deliver a dose of mash-up and breaks. De Lux is of one the top female DJs in town with her current Friday night jam @ Lick, and Betti Forde needs no introduction, as her Stacked Tuesdays @ Celebs has taken Vancouver by the storm, while also being 1/3 of the electro-funk band "Stink Mitt". It's actually $40 right now but only a few stores have that...otherwise $45 online. A steal for what you get in comparison to all other new year's parties !

Alright! So this party is almost sold out. There are less than 50 tickets (out of 600 advance tickets that were released) left in stores. So get out there ASAP if you need one. I also have a few left, so feel free to PM me.
