Heat and boy was it hot!
 Again I'm the first person to make a post. Meh. I can't sleep yet, and I have to work @ 10. My own fault I suppose, but Sharaz rocked the crowd. The entire night was pretty low-key until Sharaz came on stage. What The Fuck rocked the crowd. I wish he would have played Bomb Booty, but whatever. His set still was good. Derek got his hand on Sharaz's cd. He got it signed and I got What The Fuck/ Swiss Cheese signed. Anyways, enjoy the picture. And for everyone who knows, USC here we come!! ~Tim |

Well, I have to say that was quite an interesting party. When I first got there I wasn't having any fun whatsoever. Then I heard Slip & Slide. Like holy shit. SICK FUCKING JUNGLE. Anyways, hearing that I popped.****slaps himself***** Didn't plan on it but it happened. Whatever, Then SHARAZ rocked my fucking world. SICK FUCKING BEATS !!!!!! Then Cinto keeped the party goin. Sorry Eric, After going no-stop to all this so far, I had to sit down for half your set. I decided to sit down for the most part of the rest of the party. Then Lex ripped up an amazing ol' school classic set. After that I couldn't walk and had to sit down and bug the jib-tech who was giving me a ride, cuz I wanted to leave. But he would have none of that , because he was scopping some ass(as he put it). He seemed to be convinced that one would walk over to him because he sure as hell wasn't approaching no-one. Anyways, we finally left after the music stopped, it took another half an hour for him to leave. I finally got home now, (bit sketch, not really, whatever) Highlight of the night definetley the chillin with a lovely girl with pigtails(my how I love pigtails). you are a sweetheart Julie. Well that's my review Everyone else lokkin for a shout out- I'm too tired to type anymore.

Alright.... i guess its time to say something bout heat........
WHAT A FUCKEN DOPE PARTY !!!! setup in the main room kinda licked cause everyone was facing towards and crowding around the smoke pit... Sound kinda was shitty too in the main room but you knwo what i don't care i wasn't in there at all !!! BREAKS BREAKS BREAKS !! Lucy n Chi Chi again 2 of my favs :) got some wicked pics of you 2 !! Slip N Slide played some incrdible dnb/jungle WOW !!! hmmmmmm ahhh yes SHARAZ WOW ! WOW ! WOW !!! HAIL ALL TO SHARAZ !!!!!!!! THE GOD OF BREAKS !! he played some shit that i've haven't heard :) Cinto man sorry i missed your set i had to work ! 2nd time now too :~( don't worry come over one day and we can rip it up lol !!! and blaze !!! too bad i never got a chance to meet Sharaz ! shook is hand though !! newayz all in all 2nd Sober BIG party !! Saturday morning, i was so worried for HEAT's ticket sales. i thought that the room would be empty. Azim would have had to reduce the lighting. I thought that everyone would have a horrible time. BUT, when i arrived on site, low and behold, the lighting was infact MORE intense than the original schematic. The DJ's were pumped and ready to rock what was supposed to only be 1500 people. and the promoters were ready to do whatever it took to ensure everyone had a great time.
8 hours after i arrived, the party started. People started flowing in. The main room's sound was a little quiet, but only because the city was being a little picky with the dB levels. the DJ's were fucking AMAZING. Vinylgrooveer and the warpbrothers totally brought something to vancouver that very few expected. at Deliverances set, right after Tazix rocked the crowd, i witnessed something i've seen only in video tapes. The entire crowd was flowing like a sea of glowsticks, visors, and smiling faces. btw, by mid early morning the party was sold out. amazing. You know something is going right when the dj's are asking for their sets to be extended by half and hour, and when even the security guards are shaking their asses while they THINK no one's looking. (BAH HA HA HA GIRGE I SAW EVERYTHING) I liked the crowd, the energy, the music. the breaks were amazing. One thing i noticed was, there were just as many white people as asians. not masses of nammers either. i had a blast. Heat would have to be my favourite party as of yet. I'm sooo very happy I didn't pay for that party. But it was a funny night. Hey Chris do you think you could throw the doll over to Karl? What a great idea! I had fun watching all the high people run around like idiots. Especially my NVC. Well done you guys, I've never been more proud of my plury huggy little kids. Hey Oliver, do you have any hearing left, cause I'm pretty sure your head was against the speaker all night. High light of my night was definitely my carrot throwing practice. There's nothing better the hitting the shirt less bar stars in the head with a carrot. Anyway, that’s enough Plaza for a long long time.

I thought that this was one of the very unique parties that will be remembered by thouse who were in attedance. From the funky stage to the pumping sound the crowd seemed to make it to the morning and well beyond. They were up adn still busting it to the very last track in large numbers and just didnt want to leave.
Azim, Warpbrother and D. Made my night in the Main room and Sharaz was sooo good in the BC room. From Michael Jackson to ATB to everything made the music just get you off your butt and dance. I didnt battle anyone :( and it was FREAKY hot in the BC room are my only major complaints of the night. Other then that i had a blast. Hope you all did to. *PLUR* |

this party was a major socializing party for me cuz the music either didn't float my boat or the freaking god damn bc room was toooo HEATY! plain to say SLIP AND SLIDE was sick, and omg sharaz was just awesomeeeeee! im so jealous derek got the damn cd! (btw...chris u end up getting one????) overall i was super hyper during the beginning and my energy crap hit me hard for 2 hours..and after that i...died. sooo tired. forced energy sucks.
