Armin Van Buuren @ Plush December 29th
Well it was my third time seeing him...and the guy just seems to get better each time. Plush was rocking last night!! Literally I was flying in a state of trance the entire evening. And when Armin dropped "Lift" by Sean Tyas..it was just a perfect way to end the evening.

I'd definately give his set a solid 9/10 Now I'm just left wanting more.... He'll be back in April and wait until you guys hear his new "Communication Part 3 Remix)" It is fucking awesome!! |

I can't say I was blown away by Armin, but it was definitely one of the better sets I've seen this year. He seemed to play some house-ier tunes for about the first hour, and since I like house better than trance, I have no complaints about that. One thing that I'll definitely give Armin is that he has some great stage presence. He kept the crowd pretty motivated even during the inevitable slow/crappy trance transition between songs part. I think my only complaint for the night was that it was too damn packed in there. There was basically no room to dance. All-in-all, it was a good warmup for new years.

I was there with 6 of my friends, man WHAT A SHOW! First time seeing Armin live, I'll never forget it. He really got the crowd into it, everyone shouting "ARMIN! ARMIN!" for a long time. One girl was on top of some guy's shoulders with a pretty big flag of the Netherlands with ARMIN written across it, which was cool.
The Plush was packed to the brim, and I mean it lol... You couldn't even walk anywhere without brushing someones shoulder, haha.. anyways, amazing show, all my friends are definintely going and seeing his next set when he comes back. Armin FTW! |
