Most of intrepidsam's complaints are valid. I'd add to his my personal complaint that no-one on stage could really sing. Not even the girl, who you'd usually expect to have great pipes.
I knew I was rolling the dice when I fronted for this expensive ticket, and this particular gamble came up a bit short. On the plus side, "Flashlight" was a highlight, and I got to see some nutty costumes.
On the REAL plus side... me and cubed bailed and went to see Lyrics Born rock Richards on Richards.
And I was reminded what a live show is *supposed* to be like. Top level sound quality, musicians with energy and vitality, singers who can actually belt it out, and a showman in his absolute element.
I don't want to rag on G.C. particularly.. he's an innovator, responsible for some awesome music and a legend in his own right. All I know is which show had me jumping up and down, dancing my ass off, and hollering literally at the top of my lungs. And it wasn't at Plush.
Out.
