Well, I was impressed with the set up. It was a cool place indeed. The first DJ annoyed the hell out of me. The second DJ, while good, seemed to play very mundane tracks. He almost put me to sleep. I was kinda dissapointed that they never had a time for when CM came on. We all just kinda sat around looking at our watches wondering. FINALLY they did come on. While it was good to see them live again, I left at just after 1 cuz it was boring me. As stated above, I would have been pretty bumbed out had I paid for the event.
However, I still give props to Bacardi/B-Live for putting this on. Regardless of anything else, for a free event, they sure stepped up and threw one hell of a show! And I finally got my Vegas CD signed by Ken and Scott. So Im happy! I think I saw you as I was leaving when you were coming in the door outside around just after 1am! |

best part of the night was seeing the guy infront of me at the bar paying for his drinks with a perfectly rolled up 20 as if he just did lines in the bathroom.
I commented to him about how obvious that was and he didn't seem to care, it might have been the drugs though. I dont' think I ever want to drink bacardi again. |

Project. One, I don't think we've ever met before. I was wearing a black and white striped shirt, white boots and skirt with a pink flower in my hair - WAS IT ME YOU SAW?
Highlights of the night: I touched some girls phat pants, threw ice at people and rocked out like a zombie. Was it just me or did it have a very RAVE like atmosphere? |

I totally forgot this show was going on last night. Thanks to either (can't remember whom) SmokeOne or ColinJ for the ticket. That was my first time attending an event at the Commodore and I gotta say, that's a wicked venue. The sound sounded great to me, and that's a HUGE dancefloor.
Whoever opened for CM, I wasn't feeling the music. CM wasn't amazing, but I did enjoy their set for sure. Near the end of the night, they threw down a remix of Voodoo People that had Busy Child in it. That was pretty sick. I stayed until near the end, and didn't get home until like 3am. I was supposed to be up for work at like 5:30; didn't happen. I actually didn't wake up until after 3pm today. Whether I still got a job on Monday, I don't know The show was definitely worth attending though, since I didn't get to catch much of CM at Freaknight last year, since they were playing at the same time as Judge Jules. |

Kevin is one of Vancouver's best Progressive DJs; maybe even in all of Canada. A few months ago he was opening for Sasha on the Asian leg of his tour. I think you need to get out more and stop listening go nowhere hardstyle. |
