AWESOME beach party...the hike down/up was truely an adventure...u never knew where u were going!...the music was awesome..dancing was a lil bit squishy tho...the bonfires were nice..getting to them was kinda tricky with the prickly bushes, logs, and rocks...there TONS of people there..and everyone seemed to be having fun!..i got tired and left early..hope the rest of the nite went good!

tis party was alright
the only damper on my night was this guy purposely kicking me in the back and with his buddy, teasing me. This has never happened till now What the hell is with that shit?!?!?! Another buddy of his came to my rescue but still, I could have enjoyed myself more. I know of the location so was able to get there in the daytime considering this is my first party at that destination. The music was pretty good Bonfires, magnificent warmth Rock and driftwood was hell Crowds sucked until the end Climbing up the hill, sheer torture Setup of everything was incredible Ppl throwing up on bad drugs was pretty funny Hash and beer galore, well, with the group I was with Man lying on the ground near the top of the hill with the paramedics hanging around was scary Overall, it was all good |

I would like to take the time out to thank everyone who came out and partied it up with us........it was truely an awesome night....we gathered around 1100 of vancouver's finest partiers.....i have to thank every dj who played awesome sets, and also to apologize to any dj's who didn't get to spin...after this there will be a next..........i promise..............everyone who came out was totally respectful and from all of h2o and global dj's and also the soul propriaters thanks for all the help with that dradful clean up....everyone who came out last night made this party as dope as it was........i just got home it's 9:38am and i won't sleep for hours to come......all i have left to say is WOW!!!!!

WOW, where to start, from begining to end, everyone involved in throwing this event went all out and it showed, im very impressed and a BIG thx to all that supported!!!!!!!!!!

i stole one of u're little fire lamp thingys b/c i didnt have a flashlight to find my way back up the long long long and rocky and steep and wooded path to my car, but dont worry i lead the light for others behind me, i was a nice girl and i had my dog to guide me too, and don't worry i passed the torch to a dude with no light and he had no one with him to guide him and shine his light so he could shine on for others.... YEP!

omigod!!! I had such a good time!! I've never seen so many ppl at Tower Beach before in my life!!
It turned into a long adventure for me tho. I disovered that if you leave your cell phone near a speaker for a long time, it loses service, EVERYWHERE. After I managed to walk up, I was planning to call a cab, but I couldn't, so I walked home... anyways! it was by far the best party i've ever been too!! Mad props to all involved! I discovered that it takes exactly 63 minutes to walk form Tower to my house, and that the only ppl out at 5 on a Sunday morning, are the guy cutting the UBC golf course grass, and the guy that fills the newpaper boxes, who might I add listens to Xfm really really loudly... I heard the sirens heading up to the beach.. that really sucks!! Tim: it was nice to meet you! me: Look! Its kraig on the bongo drums! tim: what?' me: Behind you, look behind you tim: what?? me: nevermind..'' Five minutes later........... tim: Look!! Its kraig on the bongo drums! I saw a lot of other f&k ppl but I was too shy to talk to any of them! Sh4un?? were you there? I thought you were supposed to watch housewrekas set??? The only bad thing was this guy that kept trying to dance ON ME... but, I politely told him to "go back to his f**king frat house you f**king bar star" I wonder why I didn't see him again before I left? |

Props to H20 and Global DJ's. That was a dope party. I was a having a good time until My dancing space started to resemble that of a sardine in a tin!!!!!! Once I stopped moving my tiredness caught up with me which resulted in an early departure. Burning Out didn't help either. 1100 ppl!!!! Holy shit. wasn't the expected turnout around like 400? Someone inform me what hapened with paramedics??? Well props again to zaid, retro1(totaly sorry i forgot your name, starts with an A) and the rest of the crew. I'll be at the next one!

Like Filo said, mad props to h2o and Global DJ's along with the crew that put together BP2. Been a long time since the scene has seen something like that and I thought it was awesome. Good setup, some sick beats and all the ol'skool partiers were out in full mass! <lol> @ LDUB... Yes that was me on the bongo. I love playing at parties... been to long since I brought mine to one so I borrowed that one. It was kewl - has some people goin off around me. oh man I wish I didn't work last night so I could have been there for more than 2 hours! Not once did I expect to see SO many people there... 1100, that is just absolutely insane.
To the crew that threw this whole shindig, you guys definitely have my support. wow. Hiking back up in the morning reminded me of my grouse grind adventure. I HATE stairs now. lol |

the party itself was awesome...good music etc etc. We (filo, rhianna, jungle junkie and myself) left at around 3 though cuz there was NO room to dance. Tiiiiiiiime for a "sammy style" review: We got there at around 11ish? And we hiked down that trail OF DEATH...with like one flashlight. We met up with Starfish and Someguy on the way down...thank god cuz christine was the one with a flashlight. We got down to the beach and we went straight for the breaks/jungle stage (obviously). And no one was dancing so we started dancing. Some guy behind me kept tapping me on my shoulder and saying stuff like "nice footwork!" or "sic moves!"...it was very flattering at first, but after the 20th time I wanted to turn around and break his face. I think he clued in that I was very irritated and walked away...which was good cuz it gave me more space to dance. And then all of a sudden 205982302953820 million people showed up and there was no room to dance. It was like a sweaty raver mosh pit...it lacked. And I was talking to Myles and we kept hearing some drunk guy behind us yelling and we turned around he was yelling at myles "SHOW ME SOME MORE SKIN!" and i started laughing...but then a few minutes later the same guy came up to me and he was like "I WANNA SEE YOU DANCE! SHAKE YOUR BOOTY FOR ME!" and i was like "OK...here's the deal...ummm STOP or i'm gonna kick you in the junk" and then he started "dancing" in front of me...i use the word "dancing" quite loosely cuz what he was doing consisted of drunken turns and convulsions. Needless to say, he kept hitting me so we elbowed him and kicked him in the shins. He left. and then some other drunk mofo did the same thing and i kicked him at least 205982082 times and he didn't feel it. Wow...they should use Ecstacy as anesthetic cuz obviously it takes away pain. And THEN...out of no where some guy in a red shirt came out of no where and started dancing. Me and Chris (filo) were like "ITS SNAAAAAAAAKE MAN!!" cuz he danced like a snake...and he would go on the ground and act like a monkey and stuff??? And then I MADE myles watch him and we all had a good laugh. Cece, i think you have a picture of me and myles laughing at SNAKE MAN! And snake man's face was SO SCARY. Me and rhianna were laughing but you KNOW we were crying on the inside. and then the "let me see you shake your booty" guy came back and he was like "YOU KEEP ON FOLLOWING ME AND HITTING ME!!! I DON'T WANNA START SHIT" and i was like "What the shit? I'm following you? Obviously you're a drunk mofo, so shut the shit up and get out of my face" and he was like "you all have SUCH attitudes?" and iw as like "yes" and he was like "IM JUST TRYING TO HAVE FUN" and iw as like "super. have fun without giving me bruises from your drunken dancing" and he was like "I DONT SEE YOU DANCING" and iw as like "that's cuz i have no room to dance" and he went to give me like a high-five and i was just like "yeah...No". chris thought that was VERY funny. and then i found chris his dream girl...she was this 60 something year old blonde fat woman with a halter top on and no teeth. SEXY SEXY. so then we decided to leave and we had to hike back up the trail of DEATH...after falling countless times, walking into numerous trees, and tripping over steps (we had no flashlight), we finally got back to the road...and then we went home. I wish i could have stayed longer cuz it was an awesome party, i just don't like being compacted into one dirty dirty sweaty 7 feet by 7 feet area.

All I can say is WOW think that this is one of my favorite party’s never seen a hovercraft at plaza before good people good music good fun. Cant thank the people behind it enough had a blast

Major Kudos to Global DJs, Soul Propriaterz, and H20 for making this party happen, and letting Jules Verdict & DJ Orgasm represent WHP on the decks on the H20 stage. You guys did a phenomenal A1 job! Thanks for all your hard work - I had a phucking blast!
I knew this party would be big, but I didn't think it would be AS big as it was. Holy shit everybody was saying that was the largest beach party they have ever seen, me included. No Kudos to poor G-hole guy on the trail that got the party broken up (isnt that always the case? oh well) but at least it didnt happen until 5:30am after the sun came up. Killer work guys! |

I must say that I was pretty impressed with the turnout....I've never seen so many people at Tower Beach.....there was a traffic jam on the trail AND on the road (going into the parking). Saw some people, but not a lot....
