GateCrasher 2002 [Summer of Sound]

Been awhile eh guys? Well you read the Topic right. GateCrasher 2002!
Here’s my Jaw Dropping, bet-u-wish-u-were-here review hehehe.
Let me tell ya this god damn party cost me 75 pounds in total. Almost 120 Canadian! But duh of course it was worth it. Bus ride there was a pain in the ass but when you’re sitting there with like 50 or so potential sketchers with a trail of like a gazillion other coaches behind you know this parties goinna be PHAT! Can you imagine every raver all over Europe converging at this one event?

Well upon arrival (at 3pm) I was aww inspired by how freaking huge the party area was…it might as well be the same size as playland…HUUUUGE circus tents, at least 4-5. 3-4 portable warehouse sized rooms (wierd eh?) Concessions and carnival rides. You could see clouds for miles and I thought it’s goinna be sooooo shitty…but by 6pm it was apparent that it was god’s wish to give us sun and miracuously cleared up! I could not believe how packed it was so early…dj’s were already spinning at like 3-4pm! But the setup in the tents were so well done u would not even notice it’s early after noon! >.<

I nearly pissed my pants when I grabbed a program and noticed already how the dj lineup was to be…first Paul Oaken, then DJ Tiesto, right after PVD…where else can u see P.O. tag off the decks to Tiesto then here @ Gatecrasher…I loved how the crowd chanted Oakey, Oakey, Oakey, as they awaited his arrival. Also Lab4 spun a quick 30min set with Eminem MC’in. no I ain’t shittin ya. He was there.

The set up in all the tents were absolutely NUTZ! You will never see anything like it back in Canada…I was goinna have a seizure just looking at all the flashing lights and lazers…Just looking at my pix will make u dizzy…

Best Show – Chemical Brothers
Unbelievable…these guys were fu*king awesome. Crowd just went ballistic when they started, played, and ended…definitely the best performance at the party!

Best Stage/Arena/Tent – Tidy Trax Arena
Hey I’m a big HardHouse fanatic. Music there was definitely top of the line! And Lisa Lashes and Anne Savage were both der! *droool*

Crowd. No one really knows how to dance cept me and some of my cdn friends hahaha. But who cares! Chicks were soooo hot there mmmmm….pix tell the story hehe met a lot there =D * ahem *

There’s just too much to say so I’ll just say who I saw spin aitez? P.O., PVD, Dj Tiesto, Chemical Brothers, Anne Savage, Lisa Lashes (drooled as both of them were side by side on the decks), Judge Jules, Nick Sentence and BK, missed Carl Cox and Sasha and Digweed damnit…others to be listed but lazy…enjoy the pix and I also scanned in the Flyer for u to pick out your fav dj’s hehe

oh wow! guess who's jealous... ME!! I wanted to go to Gatecrasher SOOOOO bad, but obviously getting out to the UK was a problem. lol
It sounds like it was amazing though..
did you check out the dnb arena at all?? Thats where I would have been aaalllllll night long. hehe

did take a peak in there. Guaranteed you dnb fanatics would jizz ur pants getting within ear shot of the tent. cest la vie =P

Here's my encounter with Amsterdam. A definite must see.
Lets just say i found it sooo odd that while partyin in a club, the manager decides to clear the stage in the middle of the dance floor and .... well just take a look LOL.
