Moby & Dirty Vegas
I thought this was an awesome concert althought I payed $48.00 to get in and it was well worth it, yet Miska and *Starfish* stood behind the fence and watched the hole thing for free.... grrr... it's all good I like to support the artist though.

Eh, in the "better late than never" post catagory...
Was flip-flopping on this since I decided to bail on Area:2 (my life had finially caught up to me)...decided to go that AM after listening to a Sasha/Digweed Delta Heavy BBC Essential Mix that had, about 20 minutes in, We Are All Made Of Stars in it...since I saw S&D @ DH @ The Rage (pretty well the 'indoors' Plaza) and had a good time, I took it as a 'sign' that I should be going to Moby... Had a great time, even tho I was late enuf to miss both opening acts (damn I really did wanna see Dirty Vegas)...tho I was pleased to hear decent piped-in music until Moby came on...great show, spent abot 99% of it dancing...why do most people stand around expecting Moby to come up to them personally and start moving their appendages for them? I know everyone enjoys shows differently, but almost no-one around me was dancing?!? Well, at least there was someone dancing near me...long story short (I know, too late) spent over 2 hours chatting after the show...we'll see what happens but damn its been awhile since I've met any females who I felt capable of communicating with and have had such a good conversation with...it was like a verbal/mental orgasm...and very much enjoyed... ...and BTW paid $40 for tix froma scalper...still better than the over $100 canadian Area:2 woulda cost me... |
