aww too bad you couldn't make it down...:( but the party in my view is like this...
everything wuz good untill the rain... the music got better, the crowd grew but not too packed, no big ass families! the vibe wuz cool for the entire night! and then came the rain... i donno maybe just for me but that killed it all... as soon as rain started falling i so didn't wanna move.. it got cold and kinda muddy wich wut just gross considering the smell of the whole place just sucked! and someone had lit off a smoke bomb (which i put out tank you very much!) that made it smell even worse! but the music rocked the whole night though! if one stage sucked then a different one wuz just bumpin'! but all in all it wuz a pretty good party! |

woohooooo i think sunkissed was DOPE!! hehe its like a lil adventure..... feels like a mini road trip hehe
the drive there wasnt too bad.... very straight forward.... thanx 4 the awesome directions from jason (oddmud)! we went to superstore to stack up our lil food collection heehe... but parking was kinda bunk tho... we got there at around 8ish, and i had to park on the side of the road like all the way at the back!! when we were driving on the road, we saw some guy pissing on the side of the road!! ewwww hahaha.... his friend saw our expression on our faces and he started laughing LOL.... anyways.... i thought the security were pretty good... haha but when the security searched my bag... i had all the girly stuff in there haha... and hes like umm ok.. u can go through hehe.... and i was on the guestlist.... no problems at all so thanx synx!! so we were all happily strolling along... found a good spot to put our tent up... and when we pulled the tent out of the bag... guess what... no poles!!! and there were these nice ppl next to us and lent us their extra poles...... but since all the tents r different, it didnt really fit, but keebler kinda made it work, but it looked like a tipee instead of a tent haha.... so we just chucked all our bags in there and locked it up..... but we ended using someone elses tent tho... that tent was super comfy! hehe cool place to rest and chill...... the music was awesome!! i danced soooo much! nuthing went wrong and the vibe was pretty good... except all the gross ppl hitting on me!! man there was the nammer with an orange hat and a vest, and he kept dancing facing me, fucking trying to get all close to me and hump me or something!!! arghh gross..... he did that to lots of girls too haha... everytime i saw him, i just ran away haha...and some other dude came up to me and started touching me arghh!! he was like 'its my 1st time on e, just wanted to see how ur doing'.. ewww! anyways.... it rained a couple of times....but it wasnt that muddy at all.... my shoes were clean when i got home..just a lil wet from the rain cause i was dancing in the rain... so yeah thats pretty good.. oh yeah and we got subway sandwiches and i left mine in the tent and some muthfucking mofo ate it!! ahhh i was soo mad lol... anyways........all i have to say is that the party was awesome....it was organized very well, music was bumping... there was something for everyone! props to all the promotors!......and the ppl were cool.. well most of them anyways hehe... and here r my shoutz: YOKO: nice seeing u again! hehe.. hope u had fun and i luv ur pants!! where did u get them from?!?! IMO you didn't miss too much.
Music and the vibe was good but the stage setups were smaller than I expected. Not as many people as I thought would be there, but then we left at 2:30am. Were were lucky! It started to rain just as we pulled out onto the highway. I have to agree with Keebler on this point, the smell of shit just put me off. I did a contract out at Aggasiz and had to drive through the farmland during the summer. When they start spraying the manure onto the fields on a nice hot summer day, that smell travels for miles. Thank god for air con! |

hmmm.
the party overall was pretty good. although i was wearing denim and water seems to like to ride up denim... i hate outdoor parties :003: but this one wasnt so bad.. i think it was my funnest outdoor party "party" wise.... kandy shack was good cuz yeah.. someone spilt their feelings to me.. HEHEHEHEH. anyways. i saw most the ppl i wanted to see, (where the hell were some of you ppl?!) and i scared keebler and a select member of lil raver children with davEEE ha! i had davEEE on a restraint so i didnt have to leave him in someone's tent or whatever.. so he was safe and i didnt have to worry about him.. ;] yeah stages were kinda small.. no real area to dance cuz its outdoors and i kept falling into ditches...... rar. it was a few of my friends first party so that was kinda cool to see them react to it.. no old asian men touching me bebe. hehe i think davEEE scares most of them away with the "dont fuck with davEEE man he's overprotective of his mommy" type deal. hehehhe..
ppl were nice, friendly. music was alright too. but rain and smell of POOOOOOO sucks. shoutouts in shoutout section. |

Overall opinion- *Nicely Organized Event*
I thought this party was quite good. We had a few issues finding the place because there was 3 yale road's. One west, one east and one on the southern side of the over-pass. An easier description would have been "take the lickman road exit, head over the over-pass towards the esso and go right on yale road". Oh well we found it =). The best part of it was we paid the lady that lived right next to the entrance $10 for primo parking. What a score. 20 minutes after walking in the front entrance we had to spin. The sound techy must have been sipping on some gin&juice because he didn't have the mixer tweaked out. The bass was ultra-low and the monitors we all about the treble. Oddmud came by and tweaked it out a bit then a little while later the power blew. Dj's fault? Ahem...i don't think so. I thought once the sound was tweaked the second half of the set, which was the breaks, went very well. Unfortunately Kaos was having a tricky time scratching because of the height of the gear. Sometimes it's tricky to get things perfect especially when your working with uneven ground. The 2 dj's on 2 tables makes an F&K set tricky because we're constantly handing over headphones. We always perform best with 3 or more tables and 2 mixers. During our set we gave out some glo-bracelets and let off a confetti cannon which covered all the peeps dancing in the front. I think it helped keep everyone cheery. THANK-YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PERFECT TIMESLOT. NO RAIN!! Closing remarks:Overall i thought Uh-Oh did a very good job with their setup and once things were tweaked it was smooth sailing. Too bad the adjusting had to be during our set..but hey, shit happens. k this party......was sorta like a big hill.....it was off the hook from the start till the rain........i mean the dj's were crazy! dj flav + kutin (DROOL!!!!!!!!)......tunes were great! and the vibe was dope.......but once that rain hit it was like fuk.....i ended up missin 1/2 of it cuz i passed out in my tent till like 7:45.....anyways props to having everything pretty much all set out.....if it wasnt for the rain this party prob woulda been alot better.....

Oh my god did you guys see Dj Flave spin? He was absolutely crazyyyyyyyy... he was totally rocking the decks.. I've never seen someone spin like that before.. I think..
The slip stream stage was really good in the beginning.. than after the static stage, uh oh stage, and Jlf stage..- I didn't really hear any good jungle =O*( Lucy and addy.. did you guys hear any good jungle? WAIT manos one was scratching like mad.. that guy has the fastest hands man I swear.. Anywho.. sunkissed was alrite for me..i was really excited for goin..and when i got there..i just stared at the field and thought..this will be hard to dance in...stupid lil bumps and holes i kept tripping on..music was pretty ok but i never really went to the jungle stage much....too far and i was too lazy....the first rainfall at nite was harsh..hard raining..cold??..yes...the morning shower was nice and refreshing..lalala...yes...it was a fun party~

*yawn* ZZzzZzz i'm at work right now and yep yep. First of all, I wanna thank all the people who came out for this show, especially all the DJs that spun *for free*. The party was bumping all until it it rained. *ouch!* but ya, when we were setting up the 4 stages, the weather was perfect and sunny. It was CLEAR. Anyhow, we hope you enjoyed the party because we put a lot of time and effort into this show. We tried to keep the party very affordable too. I hope 2 see you all at our next show Uh-Oh! 2 (friday, august 17, 2001) which is our productions' One Year Anniversary show. It'll be bumpin for sure! Check our EVENT SECTION for more details.

Sunkissed was a fun nite ...... i never knew that being sober could be so fun. I couldn't keep up w/ everyone else but i had some good conversations when i was on my hour long breaks. I really didn't like the field where we were dancing, fell in so many wholes i think at one time i might have twisted my ankle. Ewww and did anyone else hear about the fact that their were mice ranning around? Okok where was everyone for the f&k meeting huh? i think it only consisted of jen,yoko, winnie , lesie, lex and i whoa yup yup all five of us. The last thing i have to say is that the stupid bus driver was a fucking idiot .... making me run oh man i was so desperate to go home .

The journey there was "mind boggling". The directions that were posted were a little unclear and that caused some time delay...and some grumpiness... The set up was great...but...*turn to Form's review*...Ahem, sound check please!!! well...for my first outdoor party..i didn't really have the best time...i shoulda jus gone sober...i went till aobut 12 before i did like half a cap...it was bunk..kinda mellow so i didn't bother doing the rest...ended up goin into the tent soon before it started raining..jus missed it...and didn't come out again till mornin really...
i was havin a bit of trouble dancing on that ground and when i started to get a lil high it made it even harder and jus turned me right off...whatever though... overall i thought tha musik was buck!!..but i disliked the set up greatly...iono... i give it a 6 maybe...but it was a really cool experience though |

alot of werid stuff happened, there were 2 fights i have never seen a fight at a party, the owners family and friends were having a pow wow i could hear them over the music, i saw an 80 year old man dancing! i thought he was going to have a heart attack, there was a family there like a mom,dad,son,daughter.. crazy stuff......... moon - last min iam glad you came ...the cow dog... corrie/skipp -you guys always make me smile iam glad to see you guys again powerpuff- what happend to you t-p tent???i could'nt find it after marypoppins,yoko,synx,..nice seeing you adam..without doubt i knew i would see you always do!!!! anyone eles if i forgot kick me in the ass!!!! ~huz and kandy kisses~ *nichole* happy happy birthday to john ...hope you had a goood one... |

Sunkissed was one of my better parties......alot of my friends (like u f@kers) were there meaning, good vibe....... ummm the setupp was kinda???gehhto????but it was good enuf...the sound was good.......when I first got there I was like "where are the 4 stages" cause they were all put together.......but that worked out well....you only had to walk 100 yards to listen to 3 different stages......lotsa hardhouse nunrg (dont diss it its tha shit!!!) ahhhhhh I had a really good high too....i danced the most I ever have I think......
