What an interesting night!
7 Alexander was decked out with new renovations (i.e. pole on the first floor, VIP lounge, and the sound decks). The sound in there was a lot louder than it usually was which was a nice touch. The night started off with Form, Kaos, and Precise ripping up some ol' skool breaks and hip hop with some wicked scratch techniques - jam style! MC Graffiti (Jeff Graf) landed on the mic to do some amazing freestyle, and the Sketch Bros came out to do some cool rappin'. The Def Poets slammed the mic with some interesting tunes with some free giveaways and got the crowd going. All in all, a good night. Hope to see the Def Poets performing more in the future. Props to Rick and his crew for a job well done. Pics to be posted soon :y: |
