Tr/wicked Seattle Review
For a country that you can buy a gun, ammo, and a 40 oz in Zellers (Must be 16) ;) They're sure had one hell of a vibe!!
Reminded me of parties back in Vancity 2 years ago or Victoria. There was even real live kandy kids, rave books and blankets and those elmo thingamadads that has all but dissapeared in Vancouver This party was fuckin sick! Jungle tent was hype, hard house Room was blah for me but looked pretty neat. You could really see the small personal touches they put into this party Now the weird thing I saw was.....Are you ready for this Brace your self There was a beer tent for people of age......but wait...thats not all....This beer was FREE....FREE BEER AT A PARTY!!!! NUTS....Now the strange part! The tent was near empty...no one there, maybe 10 peeps or so, they didn't even finish the keg ***shrug*** All in all I had a wicked time! Theres a hell of alot of peeps hella excited for Kiss, Its gonna give us the last push we need to push over the edge and reach our goals! Shout outs to Winnie for convincing me to come out, Tony and crew from TR/Wicked for the hospitality, James & his girl for letting us chill at his pimpin ass pad, Frogprincess (You were really ravin last night!!! Scooty scotty scotty!!) The Clamydia Man aka Skitzo stylo, CYBA DAAAWG, Firekitty, Cookee neat to meet ya, Rinse, Dowlznik I'll have to meet ya next time I missed ya, and The Rave Shack peeps This show has convinced me to come down here alot more often! Free Beer :047: AGROout |

exellent party!!! had a wicked fucking time!!! this was my first seattle party, and i must say it was off the fucking hook!!!
I'VE NEVER SEEN SOOOO MANY CANDY KIDS IN MY WHOLE FUCKING LIFE!!! lots of yanks were sayin' that the party sucked, but FUCK!!! if that was a bad party, i'd kill to see a GOOD party!!! my only complaint was that there were NO BREAKS (BOO!!!), and the fact that the party got shut down @ 4:30, but besides that, it was sic!!! one weird thing though, there were alot of people doin' poi in the jungle room (i've never seen that before) but anyways, sic party had fun, i'm done! :) peace |

The setup and stage props in the main room was off the hook! Nu Stage did a bang up job with it!!!
The vibe was definitely great and the atmosphere and feeling like Agro mentioned was great since that was kinda mssing nowadays. Glad that I met some of you Canadians that night :c-tard: See you all the next time you all come down! Pz... |

I have to agree; for a country that we Canadians tend to poke fun at for their attitudes and values, they definitely for the most part had a good cohesive vibe going on last night, and I had a damn good time because of it. That I can say that despite the setbacks that seemed to mount at times (taking forever to get there, partially due to some truly miserable driving weather, difficulty in finding party favours) is testament to how good a time I had. The music, the mood, the people seemed to fit into place.
That said, part of me couldn't help but think that part of the reason I was having such a good time is that it wasn't being held @ Plaza. Not that I don't like Plaza parties, but of late its seemed that anything of size has been there, and the mere change itself was refreshing. It really made me aware of how limited large options are here. Shout outs to everyone who made the time what it was - Winnie for getting me in and bringing along AGROculture, who says my nic with such a flair I wanna get it recorded. Firekitten and Skitzo Styles for letting me convince them to come and being such fun the entire night. James and Sandra for providing the post party pad. And all the peeps there who provided such a great vibe - props! |

Had a good time too you guys = O )
Except I didn't really dig the hardhouse and nu nrg so much.. But other than everything else.. set up was amazing...people were approachable and friendly....etc.... It's all about the "music" "friendlyness" and "having fun" If some people in Vancouver just understood what that meant and have that at most raves...than the scene would be alive Northgate theatre "aye"?? Canadians... wooo = ) That's it for now Sorry so less.. I'm tired and brainless right now.. Shoutouts too everybody in the car.. who I met.. who i saw again.. you know who you are. Dan-You deserve a number one shoutout(after that the rest will be in no particular order) because you were the driver and you drove all of us from Vancouver to Seattle.. your wonderful.. felt like an awfully long time though...geez...turning back and fourth.."what were there? didn't feel it moving" lol Agroculture- The beer garden was funny when we walked in there was zip dee doo da nobody.. and you said "my god free beer and nobody here!!" crazy... Sucks I can't drink... I can't handle the alcohol... You know what I mean? And of course Tony come on trwicked dude.. Thanks for everything = ) told you everything would turn out great..tip pa dee top pa dee tip tip tip Filo- Sandra really misses you =O ( James and Sandra- Thanks.. you know how many times I'm going to say that to you guys.. and have said it? I thought the party was ok. The music wasn't very good and the crowd was kind of sketchy. I liked the venue though, even though the dance floor was on a slant. Met some cool peeps and the road trip was a blast. all in all, it was a good night!

I had a great time at your party Tony, youve certainly proven yourself to me, and hopefully the rest of the Seattle scene.... rilly tho, Ive heard none other than positive rants about the party and the way you work =) you already know this but you ROCKED the fuck out of SeaTown Imperial Style! times are bout to change fo sho, and your mos definately a big part of that!
The stage was Fresh! Never seen anything like the set up in the main room, of the chain baby! ^Props^ to NuStage. Nice light set up too, and cant forget the lasers... no dissapointment on my end. The music was good, Im more of a UKhh head than a fan of TranceCore or Nrg, but Im not complaining...Jon Doe was interesting, impressive scratching. But honestly I spent most of the night socializing in the lobby...... and half the night promoting. Shouts to AGROculture/Dave, great to meet you! Ill see you in bout a week! KISS is gonna `go OFF`! and Winnie, always a pleasure to run into you girl. =) I wouldnt have spent my 19th birthday any other way.... just too bad it wasnt my 21st, it would have been nice to have access to the FREE!!! brew. Im looking forward to doing much Vancouver clubbing in the next couple/few months! Hell yeah for Canada on that tip! anyway.....I ended up leaving a lil' early so I could get my drink on and chill. The party was straight up mutha fuckin' Wicked! Lived up to all the hype! MaddRespects 2 TR/WICKED.....welcome to Seattle! Courtney *wink* pictures @ www.raveshack.com |
