Because you asked... ;)
---- i'd like to say the following... first off, dj sammy blew my mind with his skills. i picked him up from the airport and he told me he was gonna rock the house, and he did. he was extremely kind and friendly and loves what he does. his set was better than almost any other DJ I've heard in a long long time as he fused in so many different genres (hard trance, progressive, techno, electro and some house) plus threw in a little turntablism action (his beat juggling of Queen's "Flash" theme song was DMC quality all the way). He worked the crowd like few can (Donald comes to mind) and just blew the place apart. now, aside from the show, I'd have to say that I am in awe at the type of person he is. he is truly unique, and the world needs more people like him. he speaks his mind and it's amazing when he speaks. he's always positive and generous and so amazingly wise. at 29 years of age, having left home and worked on his own at the age of 15, he's lightyears ahead of anyone i've met at his age. "words cannot describe the inspiration Sammy is" quote my friend Becca after the two of us went to dinner with him tonight. DJ Sammy is truly one of a kind, and I can't wait to bring him back to Seattle. and to the person who stole his jacket and Boogie Bumps "Salt Shaker" record, you disgust me. if you're reading this, redeem yourself and PM me so I can tell you where to send his things. Thank you Sammy for all the insight you've given me. I'll do my best to make it over to Mallorca as soon as I can. ---- for more reviews, check http://www.nwtekno.org/vb/showthread...threadid=52015 |
