I had a simply amazing time, he fucking rocked. For one, his mixing was flawless the entire night, bassline to bassline absolutely perfectly the way trance should be mixed. For two, the tunes just ROCKED, he was so damn good!!!!
There's an old song he played that is fucking killing me, can't remember the name of it. That was the highlight of the night for me, because it was the sound that got me into trance like 4-5 years ago. Tenshi as the encore!!!! Pure bliss!! |

I had a blast! Fuckin...How can you people out there NOT like trance? Oi... :284:
Met quite a few new people and stuff...I was quite surprised at the # of Seattle/U.S people who came down for this event... 4:20 ---> Where you there? Didn't see you Ty |

It is sad that it takes an event like Ferry being in town to get the entire FnK team out for a night.
Hard crowd to please I guess. :c-tard: What a fantastic night! Surrounded by friends, great music and Ferry dropped the bombs. Props to Twisted for making it all happen. Please do it again soon! |

I was bombed by Ferry. Awesome set, but I was expecting more.. heh oh well.
Fucc the stage security who kicked me off the stage. I then stood there on my cructhes and fingered him until I was kicked out. (I was leaving anyways) good times, thx vista/miska/deeeeeb |

FERRY WAS AWESOME! what a nice guy! He played tons of tunese I love. I made requests by writing on TP paper I found on the front of the stage! lol! I asked for PUNK and he played it! wohoo! I also wanted to hear ocean lab clear blue water but ferry shook his head saying he didn't have that last night. oh wells. I still had a wonderful time meeting a bunch of you canadians! :P my first time up partying up in vancouver and i had a such a lovely time that it gives me reasons to make the 2 hour drive up more often! :P This is already by 3rd review for 3 different boards already so I don't want to say too much more. Glad everyone who had a decent time! wohoo for being legal in canada. it sucks being 20 and 3/4 and living in the states you know.

Hahah YES, I lost it at this point. I think it was just the original club mix though. There's a new remake floating around of it that got released last week, but I listened to it and it wasn't the one. Either way, so awesome =) |

my first canada [vancouver] party
my first impression of the place was bad... it looked empty, and the everyone looked that they knew each other. at first glimpse, there were a lot of older asian people... [that surprised me]. but later on, more people came in of all different colors and ages! :c-tard:
there was also mandatory coat check [which we were uninformed about], but thank goodness we managed to sneak in without checking our coats. hehe. i hate that i'm so close to being 21, so i still can't drink in the states legally... but since i'm the perfect age for drinking in canada, i was excited to order drinks at the bar and not get carded. sweet! waited around for ferry to start, then the crowd went crazy and that was fun! my best friend may found some t.p. in front of us, and wrote him a little note - asking him to play punk... which he did! awesome. well, vancouver... i had a great time! thank you! i met a lot of cool people too, who deserve to be mentioned: paulina [thank you a million times for letting may & i crash on your uber comfy bed], chris, figalo [sp?], zoe... etc. i thought that the best part of the night would be when ferry came to the front of the stage and autographed our ticket stubs for us personally... but when we got to take a picture with him... that was the highlight of the fucking night! - janny Last edited by mosaic; Jun 21, 03 at 10:23 PM. |
