D'Oh 3
the party itself was pretty good I thought. It was the first time I had to drive a party (i usually get rides) and the fact that it was past chilliwack was kinda scary. I wasn't worried about the drive up...i was just really scared about the drive back home cuz I live way out in the middle of nowhere basically. But yeah, the morning drive was actually alright although i kinda zoned out and i can barely remember driving. but no one got killed. so i did good. right? i'm glad it didn't rain although the mud was a bitch and a half. my friend Caitlin and I got there at around...10:30ish? maybe? We made the little mini hike up to the party and there was like...2 people in the actual party. a little more than 2 but you get my drift. But soon the party filled up a little more. Highlight of the night was when a bunch of us almost got arrested...for what you ask? Standing in a circle. Apparently if you're standing in a circle, you MUST be on drugs/have drugs on you. And then the same guy who tried to arrest us brought his friends to us a few seconds later and started flashing flashlights in our eyes and saying "HAHA! COOL CONTACTS" to us. bitch! go away! I had a really really really good night until the lack of sleep i've had for the past couple of days hit me like a brick wall. I was so incredibly tired and it was only 5. I couldn't handle it anymore so I went back to my car and slept. Ohhh well...I'll make up for it at Apex next weekend.
Shoutouts: Jul-E: best friends. I couldn't find you for like half the night and then I thought maybe you didn't come but then Liza and I saw you...finally. hahaha did the OGER find you? when i was walking towards the gate to go back to my car, he JUMPED on my back and he was like "SAMMY!!!" and i was like "....hi..." i'll tell you more on the phone though BeatFarmer: Did you finally find the stuff you were looking for? It was cool seeing you again Moon Petalz: How are you feeling now? haha hopefully you have better balance. Thanks for chilling with me when i got super tired and stupid. "Lets go for a walk!" Cowboy: I didn't get to see you much but it was cool seeing you again. Thanks so much for letting stash my bag in your tent. Nomad: Did Giles get high? I know i asked you about 293028 times but I can't remember. and just remember...don't stand in circles cuz you MIGHT get arrested. I SAW it. True Azn 69: wassup! nice to finally meet you although i only saw you for like a few minutes. Snyx: Where were you the whole night? I only saw you that one time when Liza and I were having a sketch-walk. I THINK that's everyone..if i missed someone just tell me. NIce jam..
I thought the stages were layed out nicely.. I didn't arrive until morning and saw a big accident on the way there that held me up and hour. A small truck hit a big truck and took it right off the road. All of us got out and did what we could. I played traffic cop and everyone else was helping the men in the trucks. There was blood and a few sore people but i think everyone was ok after the trip to the hospital. Then, rigght before we got in, we got stopped by some smart ass cop who thought we were drinking. He leaned in the car and said "boy it smells like alcohol in here" i was like "well not from me pal" then he ran my plates and drivers licence through and let us go. Kinda lame arrival. Oh well , Kev and I played from 6:45am to 8:00am and then did a tiny encore. How did it look when it was dark? Were the visuals ok? We actually put our banner up for the 1st time. I thought it looked sweet =) Hopefully to attract a few new peeps.
Well that's my tiny review on the party becuz I was only there for a short while. I also missed a lot of the headliners =(. To all the people i saw it was nice to see u =) See ya'll at apex... Later |

Personally...
I think the party sucked... I didn't like the music what so ever until around 5am when Marky Mark hit the decks... I thought his set was pretty tight... Also, Phat set put on by Kev and Lex... Props... No time for shout outs... Way too tired... G'night -Kam |

well i must say this party was a bit of a dissapointment......BUT this is only probably cuz i had such high expectations due to last yrs d'oh2.........
to start the night off, we arrived around 10 got searched went in set up the tents..........then we took off checkin the other stages and stuff......and we met up with "old man".....anywho we helped him set up his tents and he came over to talk to us.....as usual being as kind as he is he had e for all of us.....he pulled it out and showed it to us.......then BANG fukin security......the story doent end there, while they were taking him to the front he ran! almost got away, he came back in a lil to quick and they caught him in the bushes.......this basically made me feel down for most of the party........the "front" stage licked my ass, the one in the back was pretty good and the breaks/jungle stage wasnt good till the morn........all in all this party was average sorry guys to tired for shouts, but u all know who u r LEX NICE CAR! when i was walking out, saw the stickers.....DAMN! hehe -adam |

this party was alrite
pretty good for a party i decided to go to very very last minute. this was my first party since april 14th, twisted 2001. got cheap tix frum jessi j and walked right into the party instead of waitin in the lineup. awesome that it didnt rain! didnt really have a problem wit security but i went sober so i didnt hav n e thin to worry about. wish they had at least one laser at the party. oh well. the set up was alright. great seein the people i havent seen in a while. was there a f&k meet at 3 at the concession? went there and saw no one. oh well.
shoutouts: omega- always sportin tha hoodie. too bad about the old guy! snyx-sup dood, good seein ya there addy- six...pak.... couldnt get it! had ta help ya out tru azn 69- nice meetin u for the first time. saw u 4 like a minute maripoppins- saw u there but didnt get a chance ta talk to ya i'd give this party a 7/10 |

Doh, what a waste.
Ahhhhh, maybe its me, but I can't seem to have fun at parties anymore. The night was kinda funky from the get go, have a few problems with the ride, no biggie, but ya know, just nobody needed the delay. So onward to the party with Kaos, maripoppins, addy, and my buddy. Then the extreme lack of cash on me sucked all night. We got to the party, and all seemed well, get the tent up, tiki torch (witch seemed to attract more people then repel bugs) But the chairs, the chairs where sheer GOLD! My friend popped, and I didn't even though I planned to. (refer back to extreme lack of cash) So now everyone has popped, or done SOME mind altering drug. No biggie, but left me in a blah mood. I checked the stages, the first one on the walk in was more my stuff, the breaks stage got the shaft, as did anyone having to spin in the almost "left out" stage, with the small dance area. There was some chair wars around the tent, that was kinda fun to watch, and watching the wars, and catching Commander Toms set, seemed to be a peak of this party for me. From then on I sat in that chair for atlest 2 hours, caught moon*petals, and twig-e. Talked to sixpackstak. Then the constant shuttle of people in and out of my tent seemed rather amusing. As I sat there thinking my last good party was Twisted, I debated on going to apex or not. I still donno, but then as the sun was coming up, Form, and Kimmie arrived, they made their way to the tent later, said our hellos, and then next ya know its 7am, and Form & Kaos are up (in the shaft of all time slots) Good set boys, but I was too tired to really enjoy it. Then as it begun the night was over, and I was home, showering, getting ready to pull a 24+ hour day and head to my dad's to see my grandparents, almost falling asleep at ANY chance I could get.
There is my story, sorry its so long, but its 4:15am, I just woke up, and I'm rather bored. To everyone else I saw, sorry I missed the meets, plus it was good seeing a few ppl, cowboy, beatfarmer, omega, dave, plus a few others. Jess & Kev, you guys treat me WAY too good, thanks. One more thing, im sorry, but to ALL the "scotty oh" this, and "scotty oh" that I had to listen to all night. Yeah, im sorry the guy lost money on the party, but please, its part of the risk of being a promoter. I feel for the guy, but some people I talked to made it seem as if it was the end of the world for him. Anyways, good luck on that Scotty. snyx |

Doh 3
Thought Doh 3 was mehish. I knew it wouldn't live up to Doh 2 just by looking at the lineup, but still. I didn't think the music was any good till our locals hit breaks in the morning. (Mark, Lex/Kev). I still had a good time regardless. Got free tix to a party on the 10... so that's fun:)

I have to admit...I was expecting a lot more attractions for D'Oh, but when I got there...it wasn't what I expected :(
We (Lex, Pete, Marty) got to the party really late, cuz of an accident that delayed us for about an hour...I got out to help and what a mess!! It's not the most favorite thing to see before going to a party - two people's face bashed in :005: and having blood all over your hands, arms, and pants *yuck* Then we had a little bump in with an officer that was trying to con us to thinking that we were drinking and driving...Bahahahaha :041: What a waste of time!! We got to the party in almost daylight...Hung up the new F&K banner (Thanks Addy for helping :Kimmie: ) and it looked really dope!!! Great set by F&K, as always...I had a good time even though I wasn't in the best of moods prior to going Hellos to Lex&Kevin, Adam, Myles, Jess, Addy, BeatItFarmer, Dylan, and Corrie...If I forgot anyone, sorry...it was 5am when I got there |

Doh extremely lacked. ya....it lacked a lot of things. if it weren't for a few people i would have been extremely dissappointed.

Ya doh was werid for me =/ i like the music at the back stage that hidden stage wasin a real werid location....I didnt pop so thats good. Sammy ok get this I bought that cap that was sapposidly jolly rancher then i got a huge andrenalin rush and thought i was high for like a hour had alot of fun then then i crashed. Ya then i the morning like 20 min befor we left i finally clued in that it was enchenasia *sp* or some other herbal shit it was so store bought cause that cap was fucking huge im such a idiot hehe.

Personally.......I thought that Doh'3 was probably the loooongest party I've ever been to.....or at least it felt that way. And with that opinion, I guess it's obvious as to my take on the party......I thought it was pretty awful. However, I can't quite pinpoint the facts and occurences that made the party so bad to me......it just was. Oh well.......shit happenz.......haha.....
To everyone I met from F&K (Twig-E, Moon Petalz, Addy, etc..)........it was great to meet you........although I doubt you all remember me, considering how I got 'zero' shoutoutz..... =) Oh well.....who can blame you....? After all, this is my first post in about......2 monthz......haha...... So thatz it for now folkz....my worthless opinion of Doh'3 shared with all of you.....hehe..... *Jen* |
