Freaknite?

Did anyone go? How was it? Did PVD and LTJ rock the decks? Did I make a mistake by attending Spooky instead of a Freaknight event?

I went to Freaknight with four other friends. It was the craziest set up I have seen in a long time. It was in the west plaza of seahawk stadium. They had camo netting hanging from the roof, huge ballons that glowed also hanging from the roof. There were so many people dressed up in all sorts of costumes. Some people had these costumes that made them like 12' feet tall maybe higher. Imagine the lasers at I.M.F times like 5. It was the best light show I have ever seen. There was a beer garden there and for one beer it was $ 6.75 american that was fucked up. Still drank like 7 beer though. Tried to bring my camera in but they would let me, really dissapointed about that I wish I could show you guys how nutty it actually was. Paul van dyk threw a ripper two hour set down of the best trance I have ever heard him play. I had a super good time, vibe was great, beats were wicked, all around good time. except the beer prices and ignorant americans. sorry no pics guys I got burned.

Trancer, no worries man. Seems like Freaknight is your typcal USC event. Lots of costumes, no dancers and expensive b33r. I've been to many USC events, and it sounds liek I didn't miss much.

Would have been cool 2 see Ltj though. heh

Although I hate the fact that I missed it
I'm glad I didn't go cause I would've spent $100 on beer

LOL! Ya I probaly would have spent lots of money on beer 2. A main reason I didnt attend is cuz I got shifted for Halloween. By working Halloween I dont have to work New Years Eve. :c-tard:

I'm not sayin spooky is the only way to support our scene man, but it's not good when u miss ur OWN cities massives jsut to go to another one... I kno there are alot of ways to support the scene here in vancity...

i think its a bit ridiculous that the people who put on spooky made the tickets such a ridiculous price WITH OUT ANY HEADLINERS. I would understand and would have went to spooky for that price if there were HEADLINERS.

Freaknight ripped, awesome beats, beut setup

went to an after party at a club...cant recall the name
anyways started serving beers again at 6 in the morning
got wasted
they stay open till noon
awesome funky house playing the whole morning
just ripped, Thats what we need in van, Bars open all night
love going to the bar after the party
