WOW, what an experiance!

The free alcohol and meeting sir mix alot upstairs was definatly the highlight of my night! Other then that the best part was just chillin with rick, hugo, tony, and of course my crazy sista!
The sex in the bathroom, and some of the sketchy ravers were kinda weird, I have never been that close to hitting someone in my life, he was lucky I walked away, yelling at karina!!!!!

Hirshee...drunk much?
Agro - thanks for toughing me up! lol
All the vancouverinas, blast as always!!!

Good times, but won't be returning anytime soon...

FEATURING>>>>

Disco D (GhettoTech)

To the press, he has been dubbed "phenom", "holder of the Ghettotech torch", "devastatingly wicked" and "surreally filthy." To his fans, he’s no less than legendary behind the decks, captivating audiences worldwide with his distinguished blend of hard-hitting music and turntablist tricks. To others, he’s a seasoned entrepreneur, as the founder and head of his second successful company. To his mom, he’s just Dave Shayman, your friendly neighborhood white Jewish kid. No matter who you ask, it’s apparent that 21-year old DJ, producer, and international Ghettotech sex symbol Disco D has made quite the impact.

for $10 it pretty much impossible to complain... especially when it's a benefit.. I don't really like Disco D but the rest of it looks rather promosing - good posibility i might return and check out a real seattle party... and this time actually get drunk damn it!

This party was cool in the sense that it brought out a lot of beautiful people and good dancers. This party wasn't good on the basis of music however.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't give up on Seattle parties just because you didn't enjoy this one. That would be like me going to a standard plaza party and seeing the heroin junked asian circle of death + people sitting on the floor.. and judging a WHOLE scene by that. I've been to partys at both places and I can tell you that there are advantages and disadvantages to both places.

As a Seattle partier.. I look at the AMAZING talent that Vancouver brings in that Seattle passes up every time. When's the last time Ferry Corsten was in Seattle on a TUESDAY NIGHT? And we JUST NOW had Armin for the first time.

Seattle is tough because I don't think the average person is as knowledgable about good DJ's as a typical Vancouver person might be. Seattle promoters tend to book a lot of recycled talent unfortunately because it sells tickets. Vancouver can book new talent and still come away without losing a couple grand.

================================

Seattle on the other hand has the upper advantage when it comes to all ages venues. It's really nice to be able to throw LEGAL parties without a day of the show infoline that aren't held at a Stadium. We have a number of different venues in the 300-1000 range that are WONDERFUL for an intimate party.

Anyway, enough of my rant. As I posted on nwtekno.. you guys have some of the FILTHIEST locals I've ever heard. Precise and Hirshee are some amazing talent (not to mention guys like Dave Armstong, Christian Alvarez, Tazix, Mechwarrior, Ill-Esha.. the list goes on). Don't take it for granted!

And one final thought.. if you want to know what a REAL Seattle party is like... don't get sucked into a massive. USC throws proper massives but there are few that can compare to the caliber they bring. Come out to a smaller show and you can feel what a TRUE vibe is about. My suggestion would be to check out any parties by Lovetribe, Revival (blatent self promotion ;)), 360 BPM, or Goodbeat.

PM me or email me at [email protected] if I can provide you any details.

Thanks again, and be sure to say hello if you see me up there. I'll be up for Ferry Corsten on the 16th as well as Armin in April.

Well I always have more fun at Seattle parties then I have ever had in Vancouver..Where else can you see headliners like Vanom, omar Sanatana, Irene and any sort of hhc...Not in Vancouver..I will make the trip there any time...I don't know what people are talking about no vibe there..Everybody seem to be having a great time..The only beef I have is the VIP ticket bullshit and the fact that we never got our $10 back for having Kiss tickets..IF YOU DON'T WANNA FOLLOW THROUGH WITH PROMISES DON't PUT IT ON YOUR FLYERS OR SELL BULLSHIT TICKETS!!!!
