here's my review....
there were a lot of problems that could have been avoided if a little more time was spent checking over the dj setups. This is a rave with dj's...not a rock concert; you cant jerry rig stuff just so it works like how you think it should. When you have talent coming in the from around the world they are going to expect the booth monitor to control the monitors...they are not expecting to fuck with the fx send and return. A lot of simple things were forgotten...and i have no idea why. No bungee cord on the scaffold setups. foam cuts used with bassbins behind the decks??? use the roadcases guys! Shoddy needles. And not having mixers wired and hooked up properly to the monitors. These are simple things that could have been easily fixed if someone just went through and gave it a once over. other than these technical problems which had nothing to do with the promoters but more so shoddy technician work. i had an excellent time and massive props to Solid Corp. on a job well done.
