MAJOR props to Twisted for throwing the best plaza party I have ever attended! Mykee started my night off with some sweet beats, and had the house room just pumping. Hyperfunk was freaking amazing, throwing down one of the funkiest sets I have heard in a long time. Krafty Kuts handed me my ass on a silver platter, and I even got to talk to himk after his set. Christian Alvarez once again threw down some amazing beats, the man is a god of the funky disco house! I went off on the dance floor for about 5 solid hours, had the time of my life. And even though I am not a trance fan, I have to say, Armin was freaking tight!
To all my Island crew, and those islanders I met - we fucking represented this party. Great to see everyone again, more parties to come. Ben: Great to see you and your crew, we had a blast. Going to drag you out for some of the Island parties. Will get you tons of beats once I fix my home PC. Geoff: Nice to see you again, congrats on making it through an entire party sober. WICKED party..thats all i can say props to twisted i loved the set up the lineups were awesome only the timeslots were hard cuz i was trying to be 3 places at once most of the time..the main stage actuallly captured my attention more than it usually does but the majority of my night was still int he breaks or theatre room.

WOW! wicked party.. Sound was great this time, nice and thumping, Stage design and lighting was sick... Probably ties with IMF(my first party). Armin and Above and Beyond played some wicked sets, aswell as all the great locals

The Theater Room Was Where It Was At!! From The Time I Got There, Mik-e From The Island Was Droppin The Funky House Tracks, And He Played Skee-lo I Wish I Was A Baller--- Soo Sick! I Wish Flave Couldve Played Longer , But Im Just Glad That He Got To Play! (he Was Stoked Too.. By The Way) The Crowd Was So Awesome, Totally Diggin My Cutzs And To Anyone Who Got My Cd, I Would Love To Hear Any Comments About It.. I Almost Got The Turntables Knocked Over On Top Of Me When I Announced I Was Giving Away Cd's.. That Was Awesome!! If You Liked The Hyperactive Funk, Make Sure To Spam-mail Kraig And Azim To Have Me Back!!! On A Side Note, It Took Me 10 Hours To Get Into Vancouver From Seattle. And Flave And I Barely Made It On Time... The Border Rejected Both Flave And I The First Time, Due To Lack Of Contracts And Other B.s... Thjey Actually Kept Us There For 4 Hours..(bastards) So We All Went Back To Bellingham, Very Sad, I Actually Thought We Wernt Going To Come, At All.. wasn't quite as drunk as insomnia i still had the ability to stand (i think), but still pretty gone Hyperfunk and Flave and Krafty Kuts sets were insane from what i remember Hey to everyone there i met and saw and sorry to everyone that screamed they're names in my ear like 8 times and i still didn't get it i might do some shout outs later depending on how lazy i am haha |

finally recovering... after a CRAZY weekend...-10 hours of sleep total all weekend!!!!!-.. starting with richard vission on friday... and then twisted sat.... and a stroll thru stanley park on sunday.... overall one of the best weekends ive had in a long long time! i deffinatly needed that break in between my last class and finals coming up...
anyways..... twisted is on my list of fav van partys i have ever been to. usually i walk around from room to room all night like a manic.. but this time i actually stayed and watched armins whole set.. which was fricken amazing.... and i managed to go off the entired set while completly sober!!!! it wasnt untill after his set that i drank 3 bottles of vodka and ended up completely trashed out of my tree for hirshee and daves set which of course was awesome!!! didnt meet as many people as i usually do cause i was hiding out behind the stage when armin played.. but still saw a bunch of peeps in the theater room later on.. best part was when krafty played bob marley.. omg.... i was so happy... and also when armin played as the rush comes... *i cried* anyways.... i usually do shouts outs to pretty much everyone on fnk.. but im too lazy right now and i gotta study.. hehe.... u all know who u are... and u all know i *heart* u!!! rave rave plur plur and all that junk! see u kids at the finale!!!!!! ~Veni **big props to twisted, azim & kraigors..... u guys seriously out did ur selves.. i had high expectations for this party and u beat them.... u guys never dissapoint me. ;) ** |

Holy Shit! I don't know where to start. The weekend was fukken the best I've ever had! Drinks all around...
Started out at Plaza for twisted... Krafty Kuts = my hero! He's so fucking sick! I loved it, and was jamming all night long. I can't forget about Precise and Kraig's set too. What a way to open up the night for Krafty. Then, headed out to Whistler with Precise. Even more banging then at Plaza. Krafty laid down some wicked shit and I danced through the whole thing, shaking my booty with the beats! Liquored up of course with Kraig and Precise. Good times, for sure! props to dsl for getting me to go! i met a lot of ppl and i don't remember half, but hopefully i will see you all again at the finale (btw i was dsl's friend named mike). i really cant describe the weekend, best nite of my life. armin kept me in utter bliss for 3 hours and i still have the beats going through my head. i am so extremely excited for the finale the next 2 weeks are going to go by so slow argh!

Fuck seeing those pics makes me want to go back up to Whistler... Those crowd shots you took really doesn't do it justice... The energy of that place was soooooo intense... more so from what I have ever seen at a club here in Vancouver. And I agree with AJ - if it's possible, Krafty actually played a better set in Whistler than he did at Twisted 2004! Soooooo many crazy, crazy tracks. |

anyways, wow, i wrote a review already, but after seeing everyone punch up theres...it looks like Twisted really outdid themselves with this night. Music, setup, vibe...everything was amazing. I left Insomnia thinking...meh, maybe my second time back in the scene isn't worth staying around for..but Twisted, shit dog...good times. And now the line up for Groove part 1....small parties are looking attractive again. Fuck it, I'm stuck here! Thanks again Twisted and everyone who was a part of my night :D |
