Although i had to wait in the line up for about 2 hours, the GrAnD FiNaLe was AwEsOmE!I met tonnes of FnKers, I don't rememebr everyone i met but I'll put afew shout outs to the ppl i can remember. ~Good-bye Plaza~ *tear*Ricey-It was great chillin wit ya @ bp3 and finale!!thx for the candy!It was awesome getn to kno ya.kimmycandy-loved the camo pants!! Well.... it was certainly a fun night... VERY glad I decided to get off my ass at the last minute and attend...
Did not socialize much, as I only knew a few people at the party... spent most of my night ripping shit up in the theater room.... could NOT stop fucking dancing. Thank you Ryan Ross for one excellent set! Charlie - Great to meet ya man, thank you for the CD. Tracks are tight. Cya at Sip 4.5 Abby Crew - Always a pleasure, have to come out for an Island party! Ryan - Sorry you had to leave so early. It sucked. We'll party soon. Yukkie - Hopefully I spelled your name right, was nice to meet you. Jake - Was nice to see more of you at this party, cya at Sip! Max - Great to see you made it. Sorry I left the afterparty so soon... had to get drunk and get on a ferry Geoff - Acid is your friend. Or at least it's pretty entertaining for the rest of us. :) Hopefully I did not miss anyone, were not too many I talked to. On my way home - Got to the ferry terminal 15 min late for the ferry, had a 2 hour 15 min wait. So I went to the local pub, and drank a bunch of beer. Got back to the terminal, was outside waiting to board the boat, and some random guy gave me a beer.... was sitting on the upper deck drinking it with him, and one of my pot dealers bumped into us. Ferry rides are so much more pleasant when baked and inebriated. |

K I'll try to write a review. All in all it was a kickin party, theatre was awesome with the exception of the opening dj, which I was not digging. And to make things worse, Jay C didn't show up, so he played longer, lol.
Christian and Dave tore it up, and that Ryan Ross trumpet solo was sick. Props to Amaan for another solid set. It was strange having Seven play deep house at 4am instead of 7am, but I still enjoyed it. Johny Carson and Jeff threw down some pretty wicked tracks to round out the night. Thanks to all the usual people I party with, to Lunchbox for making us laugh so hard up at the top of the theatre, ahaha. Everyone I met at the party and at the after party was cool. Sorry to Alllison that I couldn't find you, I"m sure we'll party later. Cya guys at Score on Saturday. |

Bit of a late review, but I've been pretty lazy the last few days...
Keepin it short and simple... WOW.. I've never seen that much trussing and projection screens at a party. Looked AWESOME! Jungle theme at the mainstage was really cool. Sound was great in a sense, Although having all the speakers upfront this time really deafend(sp?) everyone standing near the stage.. Was it just me or were the subs maxed out and clipping? I heard a lot of bass distortion... First party to ever give me a headache... Simply put, awesome party... so glad I changed my mind and decided to attend this one. Vibe was great, people were awesome....music, setup ... nothing second rate about it. Also glad I decided to make the last Plaza party my fist party completely sober. Didn't think I was going to be able to do it. Definitly a different experience, and ok, had to get a little shut-eye in the theater room near the end, but had a great time. Shout outs... Ange - sums it all up in 2 words "oh boy"... glad to see the cuffs and bodypaint made an appearance. You and Steph looked great! Steph - the other half of my langley raver crew. You and ange are the shiat good times freezing our arses off at the front of the line waiting for your ticket haha. Ben - the little devil on my shoulder...Well I was able to ignore you enough to stay sober. What can I say, always good to see ya...."home james...what?" ha ha, ya alway got a ride home if I got the room. Jake - great meeting you pre-party style in the dorms Drina - Sweetheart as always. soo good to see you again! Glad to hear you started feeling a little better throughout the night....... Also I noticed an abundance of accidents where people could not controll there bodily fluids. :sick:
I seriously think someone was dealing laxitives or something in the vip because it was just out of controll nasty up there and more than a couple people with the same problem. (as bob sagit would put it. "there is shit everywhere!!!!") |
