Just came back from the party... anyone else go? Didn't stay for too long... Caught the last of Calvin's set, watched Gerald go on and then left...
What did you guys think about it? :119: The set up in there was killer. The lights were fantastic and the sound was mint! However, I would have to say the second room was quite lacking with the one orange siren light hypnotizing the people inside :183: The atmosphere... a little *sketchy* for my blood :035: Shouts to: Lex ~ "don't you like the pants??? that's what I got you for Christmas babe!" :041: 24K ~ thanks for the HUGE :) hug!!! it was pretty good
the party was pretty good overall...............other than the nasty OD, fixx had a nice set...........but i thought rick west was kinda lackin.......bad selection on the vinyls?(build up is too long too!)
neways i danced my ass off again..............it was fuckin gay everytime i "MOVE" somebody would turn around and look at me...........just cuz im the craziest dancer, hahahaah jk neways i rate it 6.5/10 |

Czech played the absolute PHATTEST set EVER last night. It was like the next track he'd bring in was always better than the last. He played OLD SKOOL BREAKS!!! YEAH!!!
Best set i've ever heard in my life. Seriously... Fixx: Rowdy, but i only listened for a little while so I dunno. (went to see czech, and then didn't leave the room) Rick West: i thought he was shitty. Not shitty, but I just didn't think he had anything there. Every thing sounded the same, it was pretty boring. Kinda disappointed in that one... But he seemed to be havin a good time. *ADAM: THE CRAWL/RICK WEST MAGIC HANDS... BAHAHAHHAHAH* Overal: had a sweet ass birthday:) |

pulsate was a great party music wise
ALL BREAKS!!!!!!! fuck i loved it! at all times, breaks were being played in at least one of the rooms, it was plastic fantastic! i think pulsate broke the world record for shortest time washrooms stayed clean, by friggin 11:30 they were a mess already!! it was fukin nastay harsh sketch fest tho, at one time, i was the only teenage person at the front of the main stage, and some fuckin etards kept stepping on/pushing moi......grrrrr :snyx: met lotsa new people, had a great time.......but then again, when do i not? :231: |

eh......czech's set was amazing and prob the only one i enjoyed.......fixx's was dope but nothing to spectacular.....and west ......omg..... all i can say is do some different moves! the entire time he was playin he'd to 1 of 5 things.......ah watever setup was nice.....way to tired for shouts.....happy b-day addy

wow, what can i say, i guess i was wrong about 604elf..pulsate was pretty awesome, set up wise
the huge screens at the sides really added flava..but i must say..it was quite bright wasn't it? the washrooms were dirty by 11:30? how come id din't notice that..~~??!@@.. hahah dunno if anyone noticed..but when dj fixx came on..everyone just went stiff..i guess not that many azns are breakers..i saw a few ppl bustin' it to his set..but..vibe? nuh uh yea and like kimmie said..they really did cut back on the second room..it was soo dark compared to the main.. mc sweat...he's just...just AWESOME!@!!!!! ERRR he's so good..:P |

[As I'm repyling I've noticed I've lost about 300+ posts! argh!]
Party in General: Anyways, I thought the party was OK. Nothing spectacular for Riverside I'd think. The lighting in the main room was different for once, however I'll agree with kiMMie that the second room was barely done up. Through the course of the night, the head count improved, which was great. But early on the washrooms were nastier then I've ever seen them around that time. And by 2:30 there were tons of people rolling around on the ground [annoying]. I didn't like staying so long, as I hate it there in the morning, too many sketchy people. Anyone else know why it got shut down early? [not complaining] Music: Dj Fixx-Heard him play at 7 and at the party. I would have to say he played much better at the club. [maybe due to alcohol] He was very into his music during both sets. Though it looked like he was enjoying himself more at the club. His sets were awesome though, deep deep basslines, no flaws, and you can tell he knows his records like the back of his hand. Czech-Well I rushed upstairs after Fixx's set to hear my favourite local. I couldn't believe how many people were just going off to his set...awesome! Did anyone else see the two guys up front massaging/kissing/hugging each other with no shirts on? And the pretty much naked guy [only in his tighty whities] dance on stage? Anyways...back to Czech...would have to say his set was wicked! OLD SKOOL too!!!! SWEET! I was so mezmerized when I heard him play, "Shimmy Shimmy ya" by ODB, as he is the only other dj besides a friend who has played that lately. [omega...haha witnessed me freak out!] Wicked track! Anyways, yet again Czech didn't let me down. Rick West-Again, heard him play at 7 and at the party. I would have to say he played much better at the party. He really gets into his music with his "arm movements." *snickers* Made up a new move too at the party. It appeared that he enjoyed playing at the party more than the club too. Though was quite relieved to leave when things got shut down. Even though there were a couple flaws, he still did quite well and you could tell the crowd at the party still enjoyed his set. Shout Outs: Lex-only seen me like that twice for valid reasons Cece-thx for everything, and for the washroom rescue! sometimes i just don't understand [people]. anyways i will talk to you monday. omega-well wasn't that exciting? $3 un-noticed. thx to you too & keeping me awake by going upstairs then downstairs [repeat 40x] *snickers* thx for driving btw & we should've left earlier. Didn't see 2 many of my friendz @ this party,,, so it waz nice 2 see a few people from the site there:) I thought the promoters did a nice job setting up Riverside,,, and the sound in both rooms was decent. I agree with the others,,, that the second room could have been pimped out a little more,,, but oh well... I hardly ever chill in the small rooms anywayz. I thought the muzic was good,,, but not great. I guess it was an alright change from the ususal trance/house muzic. I didn't know that Gerald was spinning this party,,, and I thought he played the best set of the night,,, easily. I liked Dj Fixx az well,,, az I've never heard anyone spin that style of muzic. Must say that I waz disapointed with Rick West's set. I just couldn't go off 2 any of his beats. His build-ups were good,,, and then.... *sigh* the muzic just kinda sucked. I dunno,,, I guess it's a Florida thing. LOL! A big fuck u goez out 2 the undercover pigs that try 2 trick me and my friends... WHAT DO U THINK WE R??? A BUNCH OF ROOKIEZ??? LOL! well,,, those faggots made me give up my weed(which was damn good by the way). Oh well,,, better than gettin' stripped searched by some fuckin' fag. peace and I'll see you guyz @ Simple! |
