lol as i was pulling up to the party we were just parking ready to head in and police were all up on the scence oh no i wanted to go to this party so bad! last time i was at korean was when seb put down that christmas party red noise raver if anyone remembers.

UGH i jsut hti the back button now i gotta type all over again ... it was ok for liek the 20 mins.. tho i new it was gonna get busted... but REFUND!!!!! its jsut nto smart to throw a party right beside were ur last 1 got busted... it was a great venue to heaty tho.. ugh well after i go to mr daves for 10 mins then stupid britnti wants to leave so i leave wiht her tho i dint wanna go home.. BUNK!!

Sucks that this party didn't go down.... was halfway to the venue when Precise called about the cancellation.... would have been fun to hear Aquasky.... and to play after them would have been even better.... oh well.
Just a thought.... but doesn't it seem completely pointless to try and bring big headliners to these "underground" partys. Sucks that they get shut down all the time now.... but it sucks even more for the promoters that have to still pay the talent. I think if promoters are going to still try and get away with illegal venue partys that they should just book locals.... and at least if the party gets shut, you'll only be out a bit of $$ instead of a shit load. Big ups to Dave and Rick for the effort.... you guys work really hard and put really top talent into the city. Clubs or big $$ money partys are the only way to get the big talent into the city now.... sad but true. -soda |

yeah no doubt...we just wanted to see aquasky.......find out at 12 that the party was busted, then the infoline goes blank for the next 2hours so we just say fcuk it.......and i go home to sleep..lol
I really can't see how anyone in their right mind would ever buy a ticket to an underground/illegal party knowing that it will be shutdown all the time.....is this the end.... is aquasky in town still cause you should really have him/they play in a club monday.... |

Ok so i ended up buying a ticket last minute yesterday hoping this party would actually last all night! Apparently i had no such luck, it got shut down before i even got there!! Well good thing me and Tina were in van anyways so we could rescue Mike who was left on Hastings!! Poor guy hes from the island and his friends left him by himself!!!!! We went to Mr. Daves after so i guess it wasnt such a bad night after all, so many ravers in one house! lol It was great watching those girls, i would have given them 5 more min before they started making out!

I had fun while it lasted. I thought it was a pretty cool venue too! I was excited to see aquasky, but oh well... :)
So for some reason we ended up at the ho-zone for mardis gras night. Wow, i haven't seen so much nekidness at a club. It was actually quite funny laughing at the hootchies who took off pretty much all their clothes and danced on the bar. A sketchy, but fun, night definitely! |

robyn, thanks for coming over and pre-drinking with me (as much as i could). that part was fun, peeing in alleys suck though. glad i didn't lose any money on this party, i was walking across the street to the venue when someone told me it was already busted. sucks to the people that bought tickets and didn't get to go. I really really really really really really wanted to see Aquasky...:( back to Mr. Dave's after for some good times :) |
