the reservation trick is always good cause the fuzz can't enter the res unless an native officer/official invites them on lol!!! (just like the summer raves in chilliwack) props to those involved with the party! |

we missed the last limo (shuttle) that made it to the party and then the one i was in was stopped by the cops at the checkpoint.
it was such a heatscore checkpoint/ shuttle set up, obviously they'd know they were going to attract attention. so we went and found the party ourselves, but no luck getting in. i don't understand how the cops can keep people from going past a certain point in any area of land. how is it illegal to walk around? they didn't kick us off the reserve, they just wouldn't let anyone near the party. does anyone know exactly what they would arrest us for? plus it was frustrating that the promoters didn't change the info line... they could've kept us informed, or let people know that they wouldn't be able to get in, so they wouldn't waste their time. so which dj's made it & which didn't? and how many people made it into the party? |

Wow... another interesting adventure. Trying to pick up people to get there and having to wait forever for the info line. I didn't have to work too hard so that was fine. Awesome location, real nice view. I had a decent time until like mentioned already a couple of my friends got assaulted. Mikey had to lead us on the journey to leave the Party.... over the Railbridge, rocks and fence. cinist! Save me a Shirt... I didn't get mine before I had to leave. :) Shouts to all I talked to. After playing at fever 2004 (make-up) I picked up my buddy from his work cause he had just finished at 1:00am. Well anyway. Then I started back to the shore when I got about 5 calls saying when can you get here when?????!!!???!!! The 5.0 won't let anyone in. i was like WTF? But I had to go drop him off first and grab some food and yadda yadda yadda... well anyway showed up at the mall at around 3:45ish the waited for people to come get us. After wait for 5 mins. Too long. (I’m impatient haha). I know the area pretty well cause I live about 4 blocks away so I just followed my ears to the music... ahhh it was like TUCAN "just follow your nose" lOl HaHaHa LoL... well we ended up going toward ambleside beach along the path there... no 5.0 so we went and jumped the fence and walked across the train bridge... hoping that no train was just gonna decide to come by. Finally showed up and Hirshee and Ollie are on, now this is about 4:00am great 30-35min set guys, I think hirshee was hung over from his B-day party or something (happy belated birthday hirshee) but anyway this is when I went on. Had a ton of fun playing Breaks and Speed Garage here as well! Most of you seemed to be enjoying it very much. Wish I had a camera, cause there would have been some really good pics from my view. It was turning out to be a great way to start my outdoor parties for the yeah! Remeddie came along with me and he came up and dropped a couple records when all he sudden while I had my ~Tori Amos-Professional Widow(armand van helden dubs)~ Eddie was mixing in the next track when I look over and see the police officers, just as I was going to turn it off and he saw me going to turn it off, he shakes the friggin scaf. Skips and scratches my records. Like it really had a huge gash in it. I was like WTF! First off you scratched my fu*kin' record which he apologized for right away (but still doesn’t fix it) and secondly the scaf was feeling too sturdy as it was with two of us up here and boxes of records, you put us in danger. And he was like "get down here to Eddie who he asked for his ID and told him that he was going to be under arrest for disturbing the PeaCe.... Umm. yeah sure... I felt bad at this point cause he only dropped like 3 records, when I was about to jump in a start tell him I was the one playing my GF was like "why you arresting him? Under what jurisdiction? " And he was like you get out of here young lady. And she kept on going back and I was saying we aren't leaving without Eddie. Then, if only I was thinking about this at the time, he goes "get out of here gurl, you're exciting me. It's illegal to look that good!" I was like what the FU*K!!! I should have been like "that's sexual harassment and there are about 5 witness' here, now WHAT UP!, but was too concerned on trying to get Eddie out of shit. When he asked what he did for a profession Eddie was like "I'm an insurance broker, he was like oh, took his card info incase he saw us back there and the let us going after doing a check and getting no criminal record... not all kids are bad SHIT HEAD. lol... so we left, and when we were back at the car is when I thought about the whole sexual harassment thing DAMN. Oh well....
After that long ass story (I’m sitting here at work and just started an hour ago at 2pm and am bored cause it's SOOOO SLOW... and the soccer game is over, this is why I wrote the story) I had a great time spinning, soo much fun; you guys who were there for my set rule. This is why I still do it... the happy faces and all the dancing, it's good to see that people actually still enjoy the music and having a good time dancing. I mean sure some of u were helped out in one way or another. But it was still good to see you all there! THANK YOU ALL! Eric J CINtO ps: Jeremy where were you? That’s funked up shit. I hope you all right and it's all sorted out. Just a heads up, there is no by-law in North Van. Which mean there wasn't anything illegal happening but nor was it legal. I really don't think that there was a noise complaint. Cause it looked like the people of the reserve just came down to join us. It’s not like they had a letter saying there was a complaint. wow i had an awesome time at the party.
kinda sucked though, because this was the one party that i didnt bring all my records, and i had tonnnnnns of time to spin. i wish i brought some breaks... oh well i prolly wouldn't have wanted to carry that shit all the way to park royal.. im glad lots of people showed up before the cops came, it woulda been dope to have the huge crowd that the cops turned away at the party. and barstar. you are not making yourself look any tougher to be picking on girls. that makes you look even worse. i have now lost ALL respect for you (not that i had any in the first place) but that is fucking LOW. like you can't pick on people your own size? grow the fuck up and GET OFF THE ROIDS ps. thanks to everyone that enjoyed and danced to my set(s) :P |
