FELIX Da Pimpcat! @ Vivid
Thanks to everyone that came out!
Felix seems to always pull something rare and exciting out his back O'tricks. He was digging it so much, he ended up playing almost an hour longer even though he had to be up at 7am. But damn, Czech rocked it opening! Man, what else can I say other than:
Best. VIVID. NITE. EVAR! I could go on and on and on about what tracks he played or the vibe or this and that but I'll just boil it down this on how great Felix was: Every single time I've gone to Sonar, I always migrate between the rooms. This is just from me wanting to check out things in other areas of the club, really. I enjoy the variety a multi-room club provides. However, when Felix was playing, the only two times I went upstairs was to grab a drink (because they have shorter lines, if any, up there ;) ) and spent no more than five minutes up there. That was it. Felix managed to do what no other DJ at Sonar has been able to do to me; keep me on the main floor the whole damned night! I know da Housekat has a great reputation for being very approachable but it still felt great to be able to shake his hand after he finished his set. He deserves all the accolades he gets. |
