Come out and join us at our next charity fundraising event on Friday, July 23rd, 2004 @ Tribeca (536 Seymour St. Vancouver)

Cancer clinical research may be focused on developing better ways to prevent, detect, or treat cancer, or on better ways to treat the symptoms of cancer. Although much work has already been done to understand cancer better, and to identify useful treatments, researchers and physicians treating cancer are always interested in obtaining better results for individuals with or at risk for cancer.

For cancers with few treatment options currently, we hope to identify more potential therapies. Even for cancers with many treatment options, we hope to identify therapies which will work better in some way than current treatments, perhaps by being effective in more patients, or working longer, or having fewer side effects.

At this event, we will be raising funds for the BC Cancer Agency and collecting food donations again for the Vancouver Food Bank as their stores run low during summer.

We also thought it would be a great chance to showcase some new local talent so the 2nd and 3rd place breaks/house finishers in our DJ Idol contest will be getting a chance to spin for you at this event!

We are asking for a $10 donation at the door or a $5 with two items of non-perishable food.
