IMF Review Thread
hey just got back from imf! woot woot, going to run down my night quickly as i need some sleep
-was a nice location but the setup was a little lacking. The speakers could have been in the back of the place and maybe a few lights too. -valdoo and shy brothers both layed down some sick tunes and really got into their sets. They pumped up the crowd and set the stage well for the headliners. -j00f and nu-nrg rocked the house, course i expected no less from these guys. Both played great sets and kept the crowd moving. The setup for nu-nrg was a little odd, but they really got into their sets and it payed off. -guyver was a waste and ruined my night. Buddy needs to stop braggin about his skills and buy a new set of records. Playing songs that are 3 years old isn't cool. I didn't see anyone dancing to most of your songs. 12'o'clock fnk meet, was good pic, someone upload it 3'o'clock fnk meet, where was everyone? hyperfunk? nu-nrg? only like 20 ppl came. lots of shouts out to ppl i saw n stuff, that all for now |

I dunno. i thought the whole show was killer. j00f WAS the shit I've seen him 3 times now and each time has been better than the last. Go j00f go! The sound in all 3 rooms were pretty damned good. It was really trippy see'ing the house stage packed with people. it just looked... so BUSY. gj hirsh & boys. The ladies were out in full force. GJ Solid Corp. You guys worked so friggen hard for this one. congratz!
But i did keep hearing people ask about when the NEXT massive is.. any clues? aside from Shifted? |

PERFECT LINE-UP !!
Vlado was some good trance Shy bro was absolutely delicious JOOF i was soooooooo surprise ! The set was really insane !! Everything i downloaded from him didn't sound like that at all !! Best performance of the night IMO.. And it was so nice to look at him laugh all the time !! Nu-NRG was the best hour of the night! But it went wayyyyy too fast !! It felt like 5 minutes !! But they played crazy shit and i really liked the live P.A. I was dispointed though they didn't play my song :( (It's getting a bit old; it's the remix they did from Carrera 2) Guyver was excellent too, but never as good as JOOF and Nu-Nrg ! Were the fuck was Brooklyn bounce ??? But anyway with that line-up we didn't really need him ! :P the setup was nice too; a little like sensation in miniature!! However the projections sucked, they were pretty fucked up almost all night long.. But it's only a small detail IMO, i don't really look at em anyway ! |

Im sorry but I gotta say the music at this party was bunk.
and Im not one to complain about the vibe at parties however i feel this one deserves it, the fight outside the breaks room for one was somewhat entertaining but just in general this party seem totally agro, I had a way better time at Crave last weekend and so did everyone i talked to. After this i think massive's are definately goin downhill. Perhaps it's time to retire. on a good note.... did anyone see the two topless girls dancing at the house stage? |

couldnt get goin till hyperfunk went on, after that it was greattttt.. but then my damn knee legiment kept like tightening so i had to rub my knee like bloody every 2 mins.
Hyperfunk absolutely saved my nite... great shit. it definitley shook the house when he played hands up in the air and blinded by the light.. wow. yeah... where was brooklyn bounce, i was so getting ready for that shit, i was on the trance floor already for it.... weak. everyone that i saw there... nice seein y'all again or the first time :-), hope we cross paths soon again... :-P if u didnt know who i was... i had a green hat and all i did was spinn the damn thing on my head haha but it was coool. '00' Fleming rocked the Colesium and I do agree that everytime I get to see him spin it gets better each time.
Nu NRG was incredible for the hour they were up but Guyver didn't really do it for me. Jimmy finished the night with another solid "au gratin" set. :c-tard: Props to Solid Corp for putting together one great night of music. :y: |

it was a dope party man... but then set up wasnt BETTER than last years IMF.. i think last years was better.... onlie speakers up front:S kinda suked for the sound at the back....
line up was killer man.... but sumone tell me where the fukk brooklyn bounce was man? i didnt even see them play... shy bros,guyver,joof> props man to the dope ass sets nu NRG? iono about them .. they were OK but they fukked up once too many times... beat was off... people we really nice seemd like everyone had fun with a hardcore vibe.... and a bonous hahah two naked chicks whoot! hahaha |

okay furst off to all the ppl i met n seen again that was so worth 60$ i woulda payed hundred just for that.Unfortunatly solid corp i have a bone to pick with ya!Now.. ive never put on a partie or ne thing,so NO i dont know how hard it is,but ............where in the fuck was brooklyn bounce thats fucking basicly why i went.ACUally that is why i went...like what time did they play?...did i miss them? i dont think theres ne way i could of,id regognise there basslines ne where.I herd so many different stories of them already playing blah blah blah they missed there plane blah blah blah.So pls do enlighten me to wtf really happend.Now thhheeerrre is a good chance i did miss them at 5 in the fucking morning,but who wouldnt of.The set up wasnt bad at all thou so good job there! .. um ppl werent to bad either anddddddd... o yah where the hell was the redbull? way to encourage ppl to do drugs lol.

damn spinning at 7 in the morning is brutal.
tried to get some sleep before the show but didnt really happen. but i must say the sound in the 2nd room was tha bomb! that definetly woke me up. had a blast droppin some tunes in that room... dope experience... never really played to a crowd like that before. Thanks solid for hookin that up! that was definetly a sweet party. unnghhh i feel like shit now though....... |

JOOF wuz fuckN insane....he played sum sick tracks one after another....but my votes for best set of the night goes out to NU NRG....they so owned the main room.....i had such a good time being sober....thanx solid for the booking it wuz fun playing up there with josh....the main room wuz so loud...u could feel the bass go through your body..wuz intense...ears are still ringing non stop

NU NRG and Jimmy Chou .. my 2 fave sets of the day .. i was having a slow night n Jimmy U saved my night ...... AWSOME SET !.. it was an alright set up ... could of been better ... but still perrty good ...

I thought it was guna b gay cuz by 3am I still wasn't having fun, but then it started to get just AWEOMSE. Guyver span sum nice trance...I even got pics wit him n he signed my chest ;) hehe and Angel_eyez's chest also :D. Aleks and Todd are the ppl that made my night so much better. It was great meeting more fnkers and being able to put a name to a face. Hope to c u guys all at apex :)

I had an awesome time ! My first rave too
Nu NRGs set was great, J00Fs was better IMO Shy brothers were really getting into it too. Ahahaha my left ear is still ringing from the sound system. Anyone know when it will go away ? Good to finally meet some of you! |
