First Apex/ outdoor party and I have to say that I had one hell of a good time. Didnt stop once the whole night, and was either dancing my ass off at the Money and Funky Town (by far my fav) stages or wandering around checking out the others. Props to everyone that made the night happen; all your hard work definetly doesnt go unappreciated. I have accepted that when it comes to names my memory is terrible so Ill just send out one big shoutout to everyone I met... hopefully your memory is bettter then mine.

What a sick party!!
I had a blast throwing down a set on the Money Entertainment stage. That set up was so ill, the towers were dope and the sound stomped. Props for all the hard work that must have gone into it and many thanks for getting me out to play a set. I would have liked to have stayed longer (def. wanted to check out the extended four hour turban tie, I'm sure you boys turned it out as usual) but I had to be up early on Sunday to work on audio for an anime project. Got to check out some wicked sets, stages ect. while I was there tho all in all making Apex '04 a very memorable party. Good times fer sure. |

we had a giant tent with a table, chairs and a lantern, enough room to walk around without slouching, and there were always girls around :) |

ok now that my brain is almost back to normal...
i had a good time. i couldnt find a stage that had a good comfort zone although i gotta give alotta props to the money stage. the djs put on quite a show. i arrived when rhia and charlie were spinning.. very good crowd there. caught the beginning of somas set when mixing out... very phat. hirshee haha damn man i must say that was a fuckin grand entrance! haha i was so stoked when he got on! hot bitches on the speaker box, pumpin ass beats... haha i felt like i was in the presence of a rave superstar! werd that set was probably the best of the night for me. the stage with the crazy lasers and the pyramid booth was alright... definetly looked like it had ALOT of potential but the music in my state was just boring.... maybe it was just me. the leftcoast stage was alright as well. the setup at the auto stage was pretty impressive as well although it was very hidden all in all.. it was a good time. |

As my somehow still sketchy lethargic eyes stare blankly at this screen skimming through the memories, I can't help but think of the sad pathetic lives...the people who join up on fnk must have. You know those people who just read about all these parties...and try to digitally re-live the experience simultaneously through other people?...Now I will admit, I used to do the same. At 15, I educated myself about kande, plur..and the *huggz;es*
but have since found better music, and a more tolerable lifestyle (personally)..Anyways, all im saying..to these people is that you missed one hell of a party....it was fucking amazing, now get off your little ass and go SHAKE IT...like you want to. (observe the event section.) Apex was wicked this year..Jungle from that stage..that i can't remember the name..and the Dnb...That mnumonic stage was sick , I haven't danced that long and hard in a long time...Aaron/Sparxx you were insane (your hair is my mission)...Jon, feel hardcore yet?...And to that DJ in the morning 6ish, spinning Jungle...without cd's in your car...you made my apex. (although I have no Idea who you were) There is just something about welcoming the morning sun with a fresh doobie at hand, seeing someone asleep on a speaker...as you dance to Bob Marley's "jammin" and Sublime, while crunching water bottles and trampling rave flyers scattered amongst the ground. And in this moment while everyone is giving each other this euphoric grin of satisfactory bliss...you see this guy in a green hoodie stagger out of his tent and mutter something about the grass in Brazil, while wiping the drool off of his face. thanks to all who made this possible. Including: Britt, for the music and the ride. The guy in the sombrero. The guy in the fuzzy animal costume. The guy with the dreads carrying the fishing pole. That girl who told me to dance like I was naked in the rain. The strangers to whom I shared moments. The old "team cowbell" crew...it's been a long time. and most of all..that deep deeeeeeep bass, that gives me that whole nauseous good feeling whenever I hear it. -peace. Charlene aka, Charlie.
