ok, first i think this is the type of stuff that has ruined this scene in vancouver.. Its when things like deposits on venue's and such arent thought about ahead of time and the venue is lost.. If a company wants to throw a party and sells tickets for it then looses the venue, that same company that sold the tickets should go to that venue and refund the money people payed for the party with a sincere apology to everyone that comes...
Its not the partiers fault that the deposit was not payed for... Why should they buy tickets to something and get nothing in return then they can't get their cash back because the organizer fucked up... -------------------------------------------------------------- btw, everything above this dotted-line was not directed just towards money. but everything below this solid-line is directed towards him because after buying a ticket and supporting him then being told to leave when i go to his party does not make me happy at all. ________________________________________ _____ Money, I think you need to take a step back sometimes and think about the choices you make. When someone has purchased a ticket to your event, and then because the event the ticket was for did not happen; the ticket holder shows up at the OTHER event you organized on that same night. You should honour your sale. When you ask to see someones ticket that they payed their hard earned money for, you should not let your girlfreind tear it in half, and while you tell that person they are not welcome to that party because it is private. The money that the ticket was purchased for should be returned to the single partier looking to have a good time. A real promoter, is the one who thinks about the small groups as much as the big groups. Treat all your partiers with the same respect that you would give to your freinds. That is the only way we will make this scene grow. A Happy Scene is a good scene, if we get a good scene hear, it will grow. PS. I want my $20 back before October 1, 2004, even if my ticket was ripped by someone who's name will remain unmeantioned. If you don't return my $20 by then I will collect my $20 and whoever else has a ticket they don't want for your party all on Oct 10. I hate to seem like an asshole about this but, you pissed me off out there Money. Gimmie my cash back soon. I have two parties coming up and I need all the money I can get to pull it all off. I have no patience for you anymore. You know how to get a hold of me. Maybe if you don't have the cash we can work something out. Just call me and save yourself some hassle. I hope you call me soon, otherwise i'll see ya on the 10th... |

PS: Didn't this almost happen to you.... I wish i would've never told josh about viva latino. Because then you'd know how it feels to loose your venue the day before and not be able to throw your shitty event. |

Aside from Twisted and a few others (unconcious bros, agroculture and a handful of DA parties are the only ones coming to mind right now) no company can exactly be called legit. I'm not positive, even about Twisted, but 100% refund policies are very few and far between. Also. Shit happens, venues are lost, things fall through. Deal with it. |

Who the fuck are you anyway, you seem to think you know all about me, yet you said yourself that you've never met me. Get your head out of your ass before somebody sticks it there permanently. Money~ |
