So wouldn't this be a debate based on perspective, since what I may concider to be the best would be different then what you would or anyone else? I think that you are looking at some of the best in Vancouver for sure.

A statement based on years doesn't make any sense either, since you can have a supernova rookie that shoots to the top from out of nowhere. As for the complaint about promoters saying "the best" what would you prefer? "The second string" or "really good" ?? I think that you should quit splitting heirs.

This party will be going off, there is a retarded amount of talent both infront and behind the scenes... so just get a ticket, and admit when you are taken over by the talent in front of you that you were wrong and that you are having a good time. Maybe you have a better way to write it up, since any idiot can complain; but someone with intellect can come up with a solution.

Akeel, the reason I am so negative is because when I do post, I am apalled with how promoters these day hype up a party and claim to display "the best" a city has to offer when it is far from it. Now I go out to club nights on on a regular and you can see me at Vivid and Shine and some times Element almost weekly and I know what what good music is and who good djs are. Ive seen a lot of the veterans of this city and even a lot of the new bedroom dj´s who are starting to play out. There are men who have made this their lives for over ten years who should get this credit. I would first think of dj´s like Vinyl Richie, or Matt the Alien. I know you can agree with me on that. So when I see a promoter hype up a party with lines like we have "the best" I should expect to see a bill that reflects that.

i agree with some points you make, however, i dont think you have anything of value to say simply for the fact that I offered you a chance to come out and see these dj's for free (including Lafleche) and you did not.
