I don't remember alot about anything , but i got some pictures that i don't remeber taking.
Left at 3:00 Am , My clothes were drenched , I drank way too much and my body ached from the drunken flail. This description would fit countless different parties i've attended. The first thing i said when i saw the venue was "shut down by 3" Promoters: Don't count on ravers to stay inside the venue and be quiet. Everyone knows that is impossible. Ravers: It was a rave , it was hot and got shut down. This is what happens at a rave. Deal with it. |

If the party seems a bit heaty (in which case this was a heaty party.. no ins and outs you know something is wrong) and you still choose to do drugs and flail like a bunch of high retards. Then you deserve to get hit by a car, or have a swordfish fall from the sky and nail you in the ass while you're tieing your shoes. but in reality.. Kids will go to these events, ignore the heatyness, do their drugs, cops will show up, bust the party and then you'll have tons of hightards running around maple ridge. dont you wonder why promoters/helpers say "no ins and outs" at raves? (espicially ones that arent advertised as legal parties) |

OK you guys are just acting like fools now
Lets get some common sense here After reading everyones replies I highly doubt that anyone really turned up the heat It looks to be just a misunderstanding and I wouldn't say this if I didn't believe it DA has never cared about making big money off parties so why would they start now? Also Jeremy has been known to give away FREE concession at his parties. As for charging for in and outs. Unfortunatly underground parties can not allow in and outs no matter what. Sometimes people just come up with the wildest excuses to get out the door. Trust me I've came up with the best ones. Charging a small fee to leave the building prevents dozens of people an hour from trying to get out and bothering the neighbors I also charge a small fee for getting something out of your bag in coat check. That discourages everyone from grabbing things from their bag over and over again. So they're not charging the fee to make extra coin, it is very minimal. They just do it to discourage that behaviour Make sense? My suggestion for this party which was unusually hot is that they should've let 5 to 10 people at a time outside for a certain amount of time to cool off There was very little control over the situation. I remember I tried to leave the party and someone was blocking the door and wouldn't let me out. What if there was an emergency? |

At least you all got to rave it up...
listen to my story people...ok you see my night sucked...i work at McDicks first of all and im a vegiterian, so that blows...anywho i get off work at 10:00pm then have to walk 20min to my house cause i missed my ride, then i dont have any bus fair, so i walk back down to theh same area i work in another 20min, then i meet up with a friend and we bus to the seabus, go across the water, get on the skytrain, then when we get to 22nd street my friend jumps up and claims were on the wrong train, we get off relise our big mistake and walk around the skytrain station to get back on the correct train, and go our 14 stops extra to louheed town center, then try to figure out what way were supposed to be heading, call 4 cabs, finally get one that says he'll take us to the party for $30, we tell him we can only pay $45 max. so we pay him $45 up front and we drive, stop at 3 different places to ask for directions, then we finally find the i-robot sign and drive in hopes to find the turn off, never did! the cabby left us 2 16 year old girls in the middle of god knows where, then we walk back to the i-robot sign, dont see anything and then walk back the right direction and finally see the balloons, but wait on the way to the balloons we see 4 cop cars drive the exact way were heading, we never saw them go up the road towards the hall, but we kinda figured thats where they were heading, we start walking up the road to the hall, a truck stops and picks us up, two guys chris and mike i believe their names were, they were drunk and eating junk food, stopped us at the busted rave, and we stand there looking for people we know, we see like 3 people we know, and nothing really happens, then we fight with some cops, and finally split a cab the way these two are complete strangers to us, but we chill with them anyway, they were cool, thank you both of you guys. so basically what im saying is stop complaining people because you got to party, we never did. theres raves all the time people, calm down, member ravers are happy. P.S. we were sober all night long, and were proud, its the music people.

HAha..., i could have walked to that party.. i just live at the bottom of Thornhill! i think we should have more parties there.. just for me..
it's funny, we've (maple ridge people) had so many hall parties around here that never get busted, and the majority of the party is usually outside in the parking lot..... hell i had about 300 people at my house party like 5 years ago and the cops never showed up.. it's too bad cops got this party, but's its better then people getting hurt, cause fights out here (if it was locals) quickly turn into rumbles..and yeah.. not good BTW.. i think some of you need to get your stories straight, and actually KNOW what your talking about and WHO your talking about before you say shit cause your making an ass out of yourself yeah it was hot but so is every other party! remember spanish? deal with it or don't go... whne you arrive at the party and you find it super hot, don't do drugs or drink.. simple as that!.. it's not -just- the promotors responsiblity to make sure that your not over heated... they work with what they've got and i know for a fact the promotors would never ever put people in danger to make more money... it's not what they are about |
