hahaha omg, that was soo much fun, tazix ripped it up in the beginning. Ran into some old friends, chatted with James while he was sober in the beginning! :D (right before he passed out in the VIP room ;D)

armin was trainwrecking his WHOLE set...... well more towards the end... and he kept turning the left monitor down...???..... its all good i know he was drunk just a lil dissapointed since everytime ive seen him he has always been awesome!! i still *heart* him though :)

trainwrecking?
i listen pretty closely for that stuff and i only sorta heard it twice, but those werent trainwrecks in the traditional sense. Armin plays with his monitors way up, using them as extra speakers. this keeps the main speakers down, preventing the hearing loss and distortion most shows normally experience. When he turned his monitiors down to talk to people, it sounded liek he turned the whole system down, but he did not. |

seen armin 5 times...my favorite as I love the guy..but last night by far the most dissapointing set...soo slow, tracks playing out forever, and not enough bombs....a few tracks, that 3rd one in particular, were good but the set was missing something.....seeing how the dancfloor began to empty at 2, i guess i wasn't alone
nice production though....and armin, next time turn down the autographs, turn up the good ;) |

He didn't turn the monitors down independently, Veni. When he turned them down, they were both down, left and right. You must've been really drunk, cuz Armin didn't trainwreck more than once. He couldn't have been that drunk, he seemed perfectly coherent after his set.
It was an awesome show, to be sure. Took tons of pictures and hopefully some good video shots. Armin graced us with some awesome material once more aswell as an interview much to our delight, proving once more that he is one of the most gracious and easy going superstar djs out there. |

well, armin is my fucking hero - I preferred his set last year, he's beginning to slow things down.
I heard two trainwrecks, once he blantently knew about it, and the other was some dope throwing his tshirt onto the decks. I highly enjoyed it, the music, the people (well, some), the atmosphere.. I havent had that much fun at a club since Johan Gielen and the thrillseekers. Good to meet Veni~C! Thanks for coming with me gusto, nice to see mydnite again, ricey, and of course angela :) Thanks for the party twisted, he has been missed, and will be missed again until the next time. |

Daymn! So much fun. Despite having my lil operation that morning, and being in some pretty intense pain, the amount of fun I had far surpassed it. Yeah, I heard ONE trainwreck just before A&B - No One On Earth. My highlight of the night was definately yelling with BT "CAMMUNICATION" and him giving us the thumbs up, n motioning that he had it que'd up. So mint. Great seeing everyone having a lot of fun, and some happy birthday's going around. More to come tomorrow I'm sure. Cheers guys, fun times at their best.

OMFG!! I had an indescribable amount of fun. INDESCRIBABLE. Armin BROUGHT IT to Vancouver. Yeah you heard me, BROUGHT IT. Haaaaa! The absolute best night so far (aside from Apex) this year. Who liked my white furry booties hey?!! P.S. Half way through the night my camera glitched out and now every picture has these 2 lines down the middle. NOT happy about this. For no apparent reason either. Wicked 1st party in Van...
Well, last night was an amazing time. It was my first big party in Vancouver, and also one of the funnest night out in a long while. Fuck what anyone says about the scene here compared to Toronto, this city can PARTY!!!

FUCK i wish i could have gone.... i feel so bad. I was really sick and still pretty sick. Neal says this was the greatest show on earth and i was stupid for missing it. From reading these posts it sounds like i should have gone out even though i was sick. Well maybe there is next year.
