Dieselboy
WOW!
im so impressed! Dabbler threw down an awsome set. Got the crowd going, and then dieselboy tore it apart. The energy in the place was intense. jam packed dance floor the entire night. wow.... but what the fuck was with that loop of the laughing? |

Seriously, I had a wicked time. Heard some really good music, danced almost all night. The room had a pretty awesome vibe too. Got to meet Dieselboy & J. Messinian. Wandered around downtown. Recovered for a short time at Dennys with Rhia, John, and co. Then found some guy who'd been mugged and called him an ambulance.
A great experience of a night. I was really happy with what I heard, but my only complaint was that he seemed to drag one bassline-style or beat-style until it was pretty much dead, and THEN switch over to something new. I mean, those switch parts were the best of the night (kind of like a 15 minute buildup going off), but the fact that I noticed it mildly annoyed me. Stil, it barely puts a damper on a great evening. Glad to see so many people there, and hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did. |

I've seen DEEE--SSSSS---LLLL 5x and I gotta say this was his worst set. Don't get my wrong, the show was still great but his track selection just wasn't on target that night. MC was off the hook and Dabble just rocked the crownd with an amazing set. Awsome job by Ph1 though and I cant wait too see the pixs from Narc. Word~ See ya'll at Total Science.

Cool thing about shows like this is tht people come out of the woodworks for them. You always manage to see people that you haven't seen in years. I had an excellent time.... I actually remembered how to just zone the fuck out and dance.
Special mention goes out to Mr. Kenny Grant for the besterestest club hug ever known to man. |

Thanks to everyone that came out!
Turned out to be a pretty wicked night, Diesel & Messinian had a good time. Props to Dabbler, Kyle Nordman, Sean Gallagher, Kenny Grant and Czech for tight and diverse sets. I have to appologize though. We had several technical difficulties during the night and because of that everyone's sets were not fully representative of what these dj's can pull off. Biggest one was for Czech's set, and I'm sorry he had most of the tech issues piled on him. If any of you wondering why things seemed a bit odd for his set, its because of a few things, but mainly cause the soundman came and unplugged both his monitors for like 15mins. To show how messed up it was, we went through like 5 needles last night and a few frantic cab rides to pick up gear.. WTF! Thanks for supporting Vivid Fridays and hope to see you all at upcoming PH1/Vivid shows: UPCOMING: OCT 15: SANDRA COLLINS OCT 22: PRINCESS SUPERSTAR OCT 26: FERRY CORSTEN OCT 29: SEB FONTAINE NOV 05: TIGA NOV 09: BAD BOY BILL NOV 12: LORIN BASSNECTAR NOV 26: HATIRAS *special event |

Wikked time! Got to see a buncha people I haven't seen in a while and catch up with them. Danced my ass off and in the process bashed my knee up something fierce on the stage (why the heck was the stage like that anyways?).
Can't wait for the fun times tonight ;) P.S. ~ Bret stop feeding your woman gin! |
