It was nice to see the Colliseum as full as it was. To those who paid out of your nose to get in, i really hope it was worth it for you. There really weren't as many costumes as I thought there would be and that's hella disappointing. I geeked out and I went as a Sim from the game 'Sims' and i think only a hand full of people got it. The rooms were ok. The house room needed work (or some orginality) but the dj's did what they needed to get done. It's hard getting a crowd to dance in a fully lit area (especially by the smoke pit) so good work guys.
The Main Room was sorta disappointing. Good potential line-up, but the breaks line-up dwarfed the Trance dj's IMO. The main room set up was too simple (in comparison to IMF as an example), and the sound was pretty hurt though it was loud enough, it jut didn't sound good. it didn't give the trance dj's a fair chance to get the crowd goign from the front of the room right to the back (although i dunno how they would have improved it, i'm sure it could have been done it). The Breaks Room was off the chain. I only caught the last 30 minutes of Omega Image's set, but he had the room BUMPIN. It'll be nice when he gets to travel a little more, play solo more often, and to show other cities his style. And Aquasky, holy cow do i just dig his style. I thought the room got pretty hurt after craze as the night went on. I'm personally not down with novelty tracks like 'i like bit butts' and constant break downs. Dunno what it was, but the music got cheesier and it forced me to check out the other rooms. Not a bad thing, it was so hot in there with seemingly 1 fan cooling the entire area (for those who were jamming infront of the dj's, you know which fan i'm talkign about) Considering the numerous varying circumstances, I think dooms night turned into a great show. It was good to see a lot of people that i don't get to see outside of raves. Thanks Solid. |

Wowwwwzers.
The music was so amazing. I was blown away by the breaks room: Dj Craze is my f-ing hero, and was absolutely insane. Omega-Adam, Bret, John, you guys were incredible. Steve-o, Charlie, and Myles, it seems we made it to the bitter bitter end, my friends! What a night/day/afternoon/whatever... I need to go to bed!! *muaaah* |

awesome!
someone asked if it was worth it for those who payed a lot for their tickets...I spent 140 on the ticket, plus everything else, and I can definitely say that there was no way I could have spent that money any better. Easily one of the best raves I've been to, very well set up, greaat lineup...all around, a great great party.
