From the UK via Detroit/Toronto, DJ JIMMY GREEN, comes to Vancouver, with a unique record crate of hard and funky house music. Jimmy must have a monopoly with some of his CLASSIC CUTS!
UK and Detroit influenced Jazz tones, synths and smooth orchestral mixing, provide a musically choregraphed party atmosphere. He has also been known to sing and chat up the microphone a little to make sure everyone is doing ok! Jimmy has played at The Guvernment Complex in Toronto, Alongside Detroit's Derrik Thompson and Toronto's Mark Oliver. A resident for Toronto's 5thElement Productions in 2001-2002. Jimmy's career highlight was playing as a rotating resident at clubs Eros, Underground and The Velvet room in Windsor, alongside house music greats like Doc Martin and Dj Sneak, Daft-Punk, Mike Huckaby and The Stickmen to name a few. Jimmy Also Played at the 2002 Detroit Electronic Music Festival "All Canadian" afterparty at the notorious Amsterdam Lounge. Jimmy was Co-Founder of Detroit/Windsor's "electronicommunicationetwork" A catering sound crew, covering all aspects of clubland and event promotion/production. Armed and dangerous with a diploma in broadcast media and a certificate in television journalism, Jimmy is pursuing a career in Videography, as well as vocal recording and music production.
