He did show up. He played @ 12:30-2:00!!! He wasnt that special though. He was a incedible scratcher, but he couldnt mix.
He was also too fucked up to work the mixer. I had to show him how to balance the monitors, and he also couldn't find the kill switches, like how hard is that. I expected more, but he was the best there still

Rectangle and FIxx was the only reason I was going. Well that and to see the new venue. How was the venue setup? Man, must have looked kinda cool.

i think the venue could be used in the future...
overall..worst party i've ever been to..and thats saying something because i've been to some pretty shitty/ghetto parties. oh well, i'm just happy i didn't fork any money out for it, or stay long for that matter.

Well I've read the reviews and I'll have to say that I won't disagree with anyone about how they felt. It's sad to see any party not live up to expectations. I arrived at 9:30pm because of a report from Aki & Twiggy saying it was slower than normal. I'm not really into arriving early at any party, even when I'm playing so that's why I got there so late. Sorry Greg I missed your set =(.
When I did arrive It wasn't ultra-dead but it was somewhat non-vibey in the main room. The second room was much better. People were actually smiling and dancing.

Overall it was ok....

• More people would have been nice....
  
• A better performance from Rectangle would have been appreciated....
  
• Crisper sound system (turbo maybe?)
  
• 8:00pm - 8:00am criteria
  
• More visuals in the main room
  
• And lastly much much more people
  

Although the numbers were lower than expected I think people were happy with the location.

The best part of my night was watching the guy in the white long sleeved shirt, rip it up on the walkway-dancefloor. Anybody who saw this guy knows what I'm talking about...

kinda sucks for Azim how his new year's rave turned out.
after how many raves where he didn't bring out some headliners and now when he finally does bring out the headliners, most of us don't show up or support him.

it's kinda like karma whether it was the dj's fault not showing up or whether the big name dj was just printed on the flyer to sell tickets.

nonetheless, i've been to the last couple of his parties where at least one big name dj didn't show up and i also went down to experience to check it out.

the only thing that amazed me was the airplane that flew by while i walked out. what a trip that was.

stayed for about half hour? then went to pne and got in during 7 seconds left 'till new year's haha.

at least graham gold and baby doc came to play their stuff.
for whoever that liked hard trance, the dj's kinda did their stuff.

the venue was NICE!
it brought back lotsa memories from back in tha day when it was open....hehe shopping with the family! :P

but yeah i agree with form, more people woulda been nice

the second room was pretty good, yay to house!

although it was really crappy cuz the bass was cutting out.. but none the less I did call all my friends back so I can dance to one of my favourite uplifting trance songs.
