I've always had a passion for music, I never played any instruments, but I always had a good understanding of music. I started goin to raves and got captivated by the music. Everything about it from the way the music is produced to the feeling of being on stage. I found a set of old school “record players” and a P.O.S Gemini mixer for sale, and went to town!! I learned the basics on those until I could afford my first set of technics, and as they say “the rest is history”. What type of music do you specialize in? My style showcases the breakbeat genre ranging from funky breaks to speed garage even a bit of dirty bassline house at times Anything that is constantly changing and morphing. Most expensive vinyl that you have paid for? - How much was it? Deekline and Wizard - breaks, beats and blondes - worked out to be about 31 bucks What is your most treasured record and why? Way too many to list just one What events have you played at? SOLID's NYE '05, Trance Theory, Escape, Lucid Dreams, Bass mix, BP1 & 3, Summer break 05, Autobots @ Tokyo, Pendulum @ sonar, Roca Wear DJ comp @ BC Place (1st place), Too $hort (kelowna) What National / International club nights have you played at? Tribeca Have you got any DJing horror stories? BP 1 had guns and hillbilly locals, BP 05 had a kid get beat up which brought the cops, being booked then un booked a few times sucked Are you a resident DJ, if so where? None Any other information? I play music I love, music that describes me. When Im playing, my primal instincts come out, I become a different person for the duration of my set. The adrenaline I get is not topped (by much). Producing is so rewarding. To create “something”, an entity, a solid expression of my personality.
