Interesting party, but some of the talent was hard to dance to, and the main draws seemed to be the live vocal stuff, which had the side-effect of clearing the place out by 2AM or so. It certainly drew a diverse crowd. It could have used some change-ups in genre though (Dr. Doom's happy hardcore set was like a breath of fresh air. Smurfs in the dryer! Bahahaha...), and the sound system was much too loud.
No Robb in the 10PM slot though, which bugged me. I came early to see his set, and to have that cancelled was a bit of a disappointment. I rushed to get out of the door and forgot stuff as a result. |

Nothing at all, but Robb has been brought out to a party in Montreal, to pretty much headline it. I'm just saying, people should be around to hear his set.
By the by, i'm working staff at Hypnotica. dont think i'm not looking forward to hearing your set. :D |

I apologise for not showing up. It was clear this promoter had no idea who I was, or intended to find out. Not only did they spell my name wrong on the line up, wrote and released an bio for me which I found offensive. But they gave me opening slot just to get my over with first.
On top of that. I recieved no information about what was happening with the party. I had to go diging for it myself. I promise never to accept a booking from anyone this sketchy again. |
