velvet revolver
did anyone go?
i had a pretty good time, coulda used a little bit more stp but the gnr they played was pretty good. the velvet revolver material was done pretty good too. wished there was some pyro. it was pretty loud, but not too deafening, raves have been much louder for me thanks buddy 2 rows in front for the doobies. *in relation to said doobies, a family of 3 sat down right in front of us, mom/dad and a 12yr old kid. so i asked the dad if he minds if we blazed, he said it's no problem. so as we're passing this around and his kid's facing the stage he asked for a hoot. that was cool. oh yea, scott weiland, you need a sammich, but you played the role of "crazy lead singer" to perfection. mad spinning and using the megaphone was fuckin awesome. he would do certain parts of songs with a megaphone and it sounded pretty good too. 3 days grace did a decent job opening up too, got the whole place going.
