High Voltage Stunts with Lightning

XEFX Productions specializes in high voltage stunts and special effects. We use a Tesla Coil that produces over 1,500,000 volts of electricity to produce arcs of lightning in excess of sixteen feet in length. These arcs strike our stunt man that wears a specially made suit. He guides the arcs with his sword and spear, as well as other items to produce the most amazing electrical show your guests have ever seen. We also bring our blue Argon laser that throws tunnels over CEREBRO and produces a nice liquid sky effect. Our dancers add a special element of fire, baton and rope dancing. We can choreograph with your headlining DJ's or artists, and add our own musical talent as well. Our website has more information regarding safety aspects that need to be considered, as well as a video of our coil. We would be happy to go over any questions or concerns you may have.

Our show is totally original. Few people have ever seen electricity unleashed in a force such as this. We would be happy to work with you during any event you may be hosting there.Bookings are filling up fast, so please inform us of any interest you may have. Again, please contact us with any questions.

Quick question, how do you stop the tesla coil from interfering with everything? I've built tesla coils before, and they tossed a whole lot of electrical noise through my house and these were only about 250kV.

a 1.5 MV coil would be crazy loud as well. I'd love to check it out!

Reply to all questions, sorry it took so long

"Was this thing out at the "Burning Man" by any chance?"

This will be our first year at Burning Man this year. The show will be second to none from anything that has been there before :)

"sounds interesting"

It's awesome. We would love to have you out to see it!

"doesnt it smell wierd when the air gets ionized???"

The Ozone gas that is produced is foul to say the least. It often makes me ill when we do stunt directly on my head and face. Wil good ventilation it usually does not cause to many problems

Hehe I just hope he never gets mad at me lol

Since it is a broad spectrum transmitter it is nearly impossible to eliminate noise, but here are some helpful hints

1) Maintain a perfect RF ground

2) Don't use the ground or neutral in your house, give the coil its own ground, and hot if you can

3) Dont't use it around Plasma TV's or wireless routers, bad things happen

4) if you want to eliminate all noise or nearly all noise, build it a faraday cage. Make a big box of aluminum screen and enclose the coil with the box. It will eliminate almost if not all problems with noise.

If anyone has any questions please email me at

cheers!
