That was fucking awesome. I was very impressed.
Someone please tell me they recognized that AMAZING vocal-psy-break-trance song they busted out at about 12:40. That was totally mind-blastingly awesome, and I've never heard it before. Something new, perhaps? Oh, and the guy doing the grinding was Isaac, aka DJ Pandemonium. He is one of the promoters/DJs for Sin City and Darkrave. |

Killer breakbeat, vocals something about "regret." I was so floored that I literally stopped dead on the dancefloor with my mouth hanging open, and neither Mike (DJ Flawgasus) or I recognized it.
Definitely not anything off of Classical Mushroom, The Gathering, Converting Vegetarians, or IM The Supervisor. I think it might be their brand new track "Eat It Raw" but that's not released yet so I have no way of finding out. |

IMO, that show sucked ass
every 4 minutes were exactly the same. the most fun we had the entire night was watching the hoochies in their stiletto's trying to dance to the psy-trance. that, and leaving.... maybe i expected WAAAAY too much for a world-renowned 'live' act, but I was sorely disappointed. |

Im going to have to agree with jon.
They played pretty much the same stuff they played last time they came. It was stellar then but that was quite awhile ago. Duvdev is still an amazing producer and that other guy just sits there and pumps up the crowd. Still better than astral projection though. |

I was quite impressed by the live P.A. and must say that those guys are true talent. It was my first time seeing them. I particularly loved the extended live remix of "I wish" they belted out as their 1st encore.
Sure it might have been the same stuff as last time Marty, but they write their own songs, tour all around the world very often, oh and perhaps try and have a life at the same time too, I don't really think they can pull a whole new batch of songs out their ass in 6 months (since they've been here last - or whichever show it was). For what they do, and what it's worth, it was a wicked show. Such awesome talent, I say again. Good show! And the spark guy and his effects were cool. A little stinky though. The Vancouver Fire Department showed up around 1 AM, and he had to stop then. |
