And yes I know seattle stores have them however, I don't really wanna pay platinum for the service charges, which are a fair amount, when I don't have to. |

But asking a promoter to run around on the day of their show, and bring you tickets isn't cost effective or timely for them. Also I know that there is a huge group that does come from Seattle but more often than not, they buy their tickets at the door, which doesn't help JSharpe sell his personal tickets.
And it doesn't make sense why if you are trying to save money you would want to buy tickets the day of the show when even if you bought the tickets today it would still save you at least $5, than if you bought then, seeing that the price goes up on Friday. Just saying..... |

jeeze.. why make such a big deal?
Avana, the girl is asking to buy tix to YOUR party! nobody likes to pay service fees, etc... and especially in US$.. there are countless people that sell apex tix.. jeeze i wonder why? if the tix sold well enough then there wouldnt be every 10th person that's attending the party selling them! my msn list is full, and seriously i have 75% having their names up that they're selling apex tix.. lets do the math -- 75% (*thinking*) - 149 people in the list (*thinking*)... give the lady some respect.. she is coming from states, and +, she wont be gettin that money returned to her for hotel and gas! i think that's enough said! it would make sence not to be mean to people! i totally understand that Jeremy has his stage and he needs support, but i didnt have to read posts twice to realize that Ashes said: she has missed some of Jeremy's posts... anyway.. not to be a bitch or anything, just stating my personal oppinnion! Ashes i hope u find some! or if not i'm sure James, "the rockstar", will hook u up when he is town on 28th! :) lets show some appreciation for supporters! |

each promoter is given a certain amount of tickets that they must sell for their stage! Avana is just suggesting buying the tickets from her friend in Seattle, and to support his stage. |

Quite frankly, this isn't about not supporting the supporters. I think it is great that Ashes wants to buy some tickets for her friends. But her point for doing so up here STILL doesn't make sense. Service charge or not, she would still be paying more money.
All of those people on your MSN list are selling tickets for one of the 16 companies involved. As a promoter, I have two rules for the day of my event. I won't sell tickets to ANYONE, and I do not accept cash drops for tickets sold. It gets confusing and disorganized. I find asking a promoter to run around and sell tickets on the day of the show the ultimate form of disrespect. Not to be a bitch, but I know that her ticket and gas are paid for by the stage that her boyfriend is playing on. To say that she wants to save money on the service charge, but buy the ticket up here is the most ridiculous thing I have heard considering she will be buying the ticket after the prices go up. Meaning she will have spent more in the end. I don't think Jeremy is getting enough support, and I will try and help him as much as I can. And if she and Jeremy were that "tight" she would also already know that he has tickets. I know he works very hard to promote the show. And it is his own personal stage tickets in the store, so why not buy them if not to support Platinum, but to support Nmemonic. |

I am totally about supporting Mneumonic, it wasn't even about that. I just hadn't recently seen/talked to/heard bout jeremy and his tickets, we are both very busy people. I don't understand why you are trying to question our friendship... as it has nothing to do with this situation, but whatever.
I spoke with him this weekend at Phoenix Festival, and he has hella tickets so I will be getting them from him. James, thanks so much for offering, but I already got them from Jeremy. I was not trying to show "disrespect" to anyone. I just didn't understand the whole, ur doing a stage, u have to sell such and such amounts of tickets, thing. I didn't know that was how it worked. Jeremy is definitly having a hard time, as most people down here aren't down to go up to canada for parties, but after talking with him, i am gonna find more people to buy tickets from him, I think he sold some at PF this weekend hopefully. PS- Plat gets HELLA money from tickets so they don't need nearly as much support as Jeremy does. |
