what a fucked up night!

I can't say I had a bad time, but I mos def had a crazy time. Getting there, was aight. I got there at about 11pm with Erik & Sarah thinking that we had no problem at the gate, but the gate was insanly packed. and people were alerady messed up beyond control. My highlights were, the one chick puking in the bushes by the gate.. her bf didn't look to happy. I kindly yelled "that a trooper!". The funny thing was this drunk/high chick having two of her guy friends also high/drunk trying to hold her up. The irony of all of them falling down simoltaniously... priceless! And that was before gettign inside gates!!! I had no problem at the gate I just walked straight to the front, but I had forgotten my stage pass for silverwaters... Willis ran to get that for me: thx mang I owe you one!

Josh Silverwaters: Wicked set man.. the dancehall had all the ladies dancing. proper. Thx again for having me down. Josh's GF Christine: Sorry about the whole waking you up in your car. My records were inside the trunk and I had to play, but I felt really bad about the whole thing in the end... Thx for not killing me 'cause you looked pretty upset. ha... no hard feelings I hope. SwiftBeats: Your stage was poppin! Too bad about the technical difficulties, but still you had a hype stage fo real! Missy Chrissy: Props! I only ran into Chrissy a couple of times in the night, still I checked out your stage. Dope shows all night... Nui Nui (sp) quite the mami. B.Traits: There's something about Bri dropping a tigth set on a 20 foot high stage that demands attention. Big ups Bri, you're doing thangs!:202: Demolition Stage: Rob Noble held down a proper set! A lot of tunes that I've been dying to hear on a loud system. He dropped everything from the real heavies, to the smooth deep vibes! We need to get this guy up here for a d'n'b night. Seriously a sic, sic dj.. I can't stress that enough. Alison: Whoever stole your booze is prolly in the drunk trank getting ass rammed by crack-head.. karma's a bitch. Glad your night turned around <3 Pwincess, Custard & Sherbear: Whoever gave me the $20 bill to pay for the smokes was really high! The bill was all rolled up into a tiny little ball, all moist & shit from sweat -- I was actualy kind of embarased to use the bill. Either way one of you owes me a BJ. Rock, paper, scissors: best 2 out of 3 wins! Kam: You always remind me about our next mix session when I'm drunk or high. This time I'll remind you, but sober! How's this Friday? Neverlookback: That was some pure disco shit... Like someone went back in time and picked it straigh up from a columbian dude with a huge afro. As for being wasted.. it was more of a combination of beer, drugs & shark energy drinks. My set wasnt until 7am, so i just gave 'er.

This apex was by far my fav! Akeel and I had a great crowd going for a good 3 hours! Props to anyone who stayed the entire 3!!! Thats going to be the last breakbeat set I play for a LONG TIME maybe even till next apex so I hope you enjoyed it.

the best part was remembering ... only the NEXT DAY.... that i was in a dance 360 competition drunk off my tree.. and that i was also a go-go dancer on the fnk stage..... when i remebered.. i was like... did that really happen... oh shit.. ya it did.


lol. awesome night... FINALLY recovering.. after the 40 and then moving on monday... wow.. never doing that again... thanks to Boodang (the best stage at apex by far!!!! ;) ) for letting me open up the stage... i had tons of fun!!

the ride up there watching fear and loathing on my dvd player was fun, then the 2 hour fucking line up blew, apparently pushing really hard makes the line go faster. alright party, music was pretty good. sorry about your poor broken back charlene, ozzfest will make up for it. ang way to pass out in my tent all night, no more vodka for you! bk was the highlight of the day, yay for hash bites and dirty "just add water" eggs.
