PHAT! Breakfastaz + Liquor
I really enjoyed them the last time they were here. In case some of you haven't heard of these amazing dj's/producers, i've gathered a couple of samples for you guys to listen to (all streaming) incase you aren't hard core into bassline (yet).. The Pressure --> http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF160089-01-01-01.mp3 Kick It --> http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF158424-01-02-01.mp3 Midnight --> http://www.releaserecords.com/RAM/14448.RAM The Melody --> http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF171704-01-02-01.mp3 You can ALSO check out --> www.samurai.fm and go to the 'Feature Archive' and find their live set. These guys can produce AND spin a mean set. I'm stoked to hear another member of the crew lay down some tunes. I'm really getting into this genre of 'Bassline' and i can't seem to find a strong community in vancouver. I'd like to hear this kinda stuff on bigger systems more often. It sounds GREAT. Here's Another Boom! --> http://www.streetwisemusic.co.uk/stream/128079.ram I really hope this party gets PACKED and the crowd is awesome so tell your friends to come and check this shit out! Enjoy! I just downloaded a radio mix of these guys and spent the whole evening last night in amazement.
I was so looking forward to this show, until I realized that Friday ISN'T the stat holiday - it's Monday. I'm on a $3000 course that week - so I would have to be really behaved. GAY. Still undecided. The show alone might be worth the struggle. The BEATS definitely are. |
