BLUE is back this Saturday for our Vancouver Foodbank food drive and Children's Hospital fundraiser.

Please mark the day on your calendar and come down to help support our cause and dance the night away to some of the best house music in Vancouver.

For this weekend we have all the residents on deck!

Christian Alvarez, Hirshee, Kraig and Charlie 'Tuna' will be doing a tag set all night while Spence tears it ip on the Sax and Akeel on the drums.

It will be another great night of music so come down after you have done your shopping! ;)

HELP THE VANCOUVER FOOD BANK!!!

So who is coming down this Saturday to BLUE? -- I mean... entry is free if you have 3 canned or non-perishable food items. Of course the girls at the front door will be taking any cash/spare change donations which will all go to Children's Hospital.

Even if you don't stay for all that long, at least come down, drop off some stuff for the food bank, throw in $5 for Children's Hospital, have some drinks and take off!

I wish to thank everyone who did come down last night to support our fundraiser.

I must say that I am VERY disappointed with the turnout to our annual Christmas fundraiser.

Yes there might have been two big parties back to back this weekend but I have always had people stop by and drop off food and cash donations to help the charities we have selected regardsless of what was going on during the weekend. So what happened?!?

So I'm going to see if it was just too much going on last weekend OR if people just don't care to help support this fundraiser anymore by holding the fundraiser AGAIN this Saturday, December 17th.

There are no big events slated this upcoming Saturday night so I will let the attendance and donation figures speak for themselves.

On the decks will be Hirshee, Soma and Oliver Nickels laying out some of the funkiest house and electro in the city.

I do hope that many of you will make your way down next weekend to show your support and help those who need it most this winter.

what happened?? i knew it was a bad sign when the bouncers questioned me about the canned food @ 11~, they didn't even know there was a drive going on. well i hope it turns out well next week!

Between Hirshee, Soma, and myself, we're going to have a pretty wide range of kick-ass Funked-out House and Electro with a big portion of Soma's signature Tech-Funk sound. Oh! The sizzling beats! I can't wait to play with these guys! ;) haha

And I know everybody is just finishing their exams and winter break will have just started. Its going to be huge this weekend! =)
